For years we have been buying 2-3 tres leches cakes a year for birthdays. They are absolutely amazing!!! I don’t feel like $40 is excessive for such a beautiful, delicious cake that can easily serve over 12 people. I am usually upset when places charge a “credit card fee” but I don’t really mind at La Luz because I feel like the cakes are a great value. The fee at La Luz is 2.6%.

Well, generally, I love La Luz’s tamales and they are my number one place to go to but in the recent weeks the quality for Tamales has definitely taken a turn for the worse. For example, I have a photo of a Raja tamale there’s zero cheese, and this happened last time as well. I definitely did not order a Maza tamale.

Wife and I came in and grabbed a few desserts. They were amazing. Our daughter’s birthday is coming up and we’ll definitely come back to order a full cake.

I came in yesterday and got almost $20 worth of pastries which is not much since theyve raised their prices considerably over the past couple of years. Well this morning I went to bite into my blueberry pound cake and it was moldy. Absolutely disgusting and will go elsewhere next time.

Today at 12 p.m I went to the bakery where I always go to get some fast food that they have premade. I was introduced by a rude lady that had a very bad attitude. I didn’t think much of it, but when I gave her my card to pay, she snatched it out of my hand disrespectfully. I have never been treated that way, and I can’t believe that she would take my card in such a manner. Honestly, she had a bad attitude so be careful going there. I for one, will never go here again. On the other hand, at yells bakery, not too far away, I was treated so nicely by the workers there. Please go there instead. Just a friendly warning.

This bakery has fresh, delicious treats. My teenagers love the churros, I love their flan and tres leches cakes. Recently, I ordered a three layer cake for my daughters quinceñera, they delivered and set up, which was so convenient. They offered various fillings, and I was able to select three different cakes for each layer. I also provided a picture of the design, and they did exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend them for special occasions!

So very disappointed.. I ordered over a $100 worth of tamales for Christmas Eve (yesterday) To start things off the order was suppose to been ready for pick up at 3:30pm. I called at 2:50 PM to possibly pick it up earlier, but I was told it will not be done until 4ish. I arrived at 4:15 for them again to tell me they needed another 15 minutes to be ready. Which ended up being over an hour. I received my tamales at 5:15pm. When i say I am beyond disappointed, not only because of the time but because 85% of the tamales had no meat at all. 85% was either full of sauce, half sauce or no sauce and dry of masa.I even found large cut pieces of tomatos stuffed in a few. I didn’t ask for stuffed tomato tamales.SMH $110 that went to the garbage and ruined our Christmas dinner
