I have to say the first time we ate here about 9 months ago they had just opened and they did not have a full menu and honestly was not that great, well my opinion has changed 100%. I give them a 5 star rating. The meals we ate were very tasty and delicious. Will come back for sure. The whole area near this restaurant is changing more and more options to eat now.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Guagua, a Latin restaurant tucked away in a plaza, and it turned out to be a hidden gem worth discovering. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the aromas wafting from the kitchen promised a delicious experience.

The coffee was pretty good, They use between a light & medium roast for the espresso which is a little on the nose for espresso. I tried the Horchata Latte as well as the Dulce De Leche Latte, they were both good but I recommend the Dulce De Leche latte over the Horchata Latte, they use powers instead of syrup or real Horchata or Dulce De Leche, which made the drinks a little grainy but still tasted good. I highly recommend the walnut chocolate chip cookie! The service was alright, but you would mainly come for the tasty food, coffee, and nice atmosphere over the service, overall I would come back!

Recently heard about all of the new food places in the Suisun Marina Center. Decided to pop in to check out the menu. Since I already had lunch figured out, I ordered a chicken empanada for later. I have to say it was very delicious and loved the cilantro sauce that came with it. Seasoned to perfection and made from scratch. Clean establishment, cool with the A/C and friendly staff. Will definitely be back to try more items from their menu.

La Guagua is truly a hidden gem in this shopping center. I’ve always had an issue with restaurants in Suisun City claiming to be cafes but they serve no pastries or speciality coffees. La Guagua offers both and is probably the only real cafe here.

My husband and I tried this place a few weeks ago for the first time, and have been back several times since.

I was very excited to try this new place out at the Suisun Marina and it did not disappoint! Walking in, I immediately got a cozy feeling and enjoyed the chill atmosphere. The service was quick and the staff were so wonderful! I ordered three things: the chorizo empanada, tostones rellenos, and hamburguesa latinas.

If you have not tried La Guagua this is a great place to try. Breakfast, sandwiches, salads, pastries, all w/ a Latin flavor. One of my new favorite spots in Suisun. What is nice you can enjoy a beer with their neighbors @TrueSymmetry and scan their menu to order and the food will be delivered to you. Win- Win!

Chicken empanadas; flakey on the outside, tender and sweet chicken on the inside. If ordering empanadas to go, ask to have them heated up.
