It’s definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in Northern Iowa. In a little sleepy out-of-the-way town you would never expect this kind of quality and service. It’s worth a 20 mile detour to have a meal. Not too spicy and fairly priced.

We LOVE this place. Not only is the food excellent, Sophia, the owner, is kind and really cares about the quality of the food she puts out and her customers experience. We are a family of 6 with 4 little ones. She is always so kind and graceful with our wild crew! Each time we come she stops and makes sure everything is good and visits with our kids. She makes them feel so special! Her restaurant makes you want to come back again and again!! GREAT family friendly restaurant!

I’ve never publicly done a review on a place but I highly recommend La Guadalupana authentic Mexican food! This is a place we’ll definitely go to for a night we need to get out to to eat. The service was great and attentive. Our to go order was forgotten about but wasn’t upset. Just made it that much hotter to bring home to the kids. Loved the authenticity.
