I recently moved to the area and saw this place driving by and had lunch today and it’s definitely worth it. The mofongo was delicious, the chicharrón de pollo was like biting into butter, it just melts in your mouth. Better than what you can get in Washington Heights. The pernil was tender full of flavor and the portions are reminiscent of the early 2000’s. You will lot be disappointed.

I went to pick up an order, and they looked at me like I was furniture, even after I explained why I was there. Then a Spanish guy came in to pick up the same type of order, and they attended to him quickly, while saying nothing to me. I had to go up to the front to inquire about my order & another person (maybe the owner) apologized to me, but he was the 4th person that I encountered. So, I would say, the first 3 people need some training, at the very least! The type of order that I was picking up, is a quick pop in & go everywhere else, however after 20 minutes of waiting & I still ended up with no food. This was my first time to this restaurant, and this experience has made me not want to return! Thank goodness there are many Spanish restaurants in this great city!

I will start with the counter ladies was really nice and sweet. The atmosphere was nice. The only thing was the food was not good. The rice and gandules wasn’t dry and it looked like it was a day old and tasted like that as well. This location had lunch specials which they didnt have different varieties. The chicken chuncks was pieces of chicken thighs not the chicken cutlet, and the roast pork was seasoned well but it was chunks and it was also dry. I have to say I wasn’t use to Spanish Food being served like this. I wouldn’t come back here this was a disappointment because the restaurant atmosphere was truly amazing but the food itself was not good at all. I would recommend as a last alternative to others but I would share my thoughts regarding the food itself.

Great Latin food that is consistent, fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are good too. This is a great place for reliable Spanish comfort food. Yum!

Came in foe the first time for rice and beans only, beans were salty and tasteless, as far as the options to go, they only had chicken. The waitress tried her best to provide good service.
