I really wanted a chimichanga. I don’t get to get away often because, I care for my mom with Alzheimer’s and I’ve had difficulty getting on the schedule for my agency. Today I had the freedom to get out for a bit and was excited to get my first chimichanga in over a year. The menu clearly said your choice of meat and, ground beef was listed as a choice. First they said they didn’t have ground beef. Then why is it listed as an option? When I was told I would probably have to have steak I said then I don’t want it. I wear dentures but, not to eat because my bottom plate pops up every time I try to eat with them so, steak is hard for me to chew and I am not a fan of steak. The waitress came back and left the impression that they were going to make me a ground beef one instead. When I got my food it was in fact steak on the inside. I sent it back and was then told they would not make a ground beef one for just one customer. If you’re not willing to make what is on the menu and what the customer wants then remove it as a menu option. I will never be back to this establishment.

I ordered the “traditional/mexican way” carne asada tacos, and they brought me the tacos with grilled onions instead of raw. It was surprisingly not bad. I wasn’t too impressed with the meat tho, as they were a little bland. The chips were mediocre and the salsa needed more flavor.

Worst food I have ever had at a resteraunt. Loose hamburger meat with no taco sauce. Waitress was confrentational. $2 bottle of coke?! Craziness!! The place was dead and I see why. Not another soul in either the resteraunt or the market part. You could not pay me to go back there again!!!

The best Mexican restaurant in the state. I used to live on Cherry St and went there all the time. I’ve looked the entire Fox Valley and Green Bay and can’t find anything close to this place. Kinda miss Janesville.
