The gnocchi at House Make Gnocchi is extremely delicious and highly recommended. It has a perfect texture, being neither too hard nor too soft, and is very chewy and not sticky. The taste is excellent. The pesto sauce pairs perfectly with the gnocchi, creating a well-balanced dish. It is very creamy but not overly rich, and the flavors of the milk and spices blend together beautifully. The fresh parsley leaves a sweet aftertaste in your mouth. The coffee is just average, as the milk was heated too much. The tiramisu is very tasty. If better coffee liquid is used to soak the ladyfingers, the overall quality would be even better

We visited La Cucina after seeing all the glowing reviews, but left a little underwhelmed. The pasta was perfectly al dente, but the sauces just didn’t hit the mark. Both the spaghetti marinara and the vegetable tagliatelle special were surprisingly sweet, lacking salt and depth, and the Napoletana sauces didn’t have the richness you’d expect.

The meatballs were very small for the cost, especially when you’re paying total of $170 for two people (1 entree, 2 mains and a side dish, with a glass of wine each).

Service was great, and the place has a lively, bustling vibe. Just be prepared: it’s extremely noisy. On a Sunday night it was packed, and we had to raise our voices to hear each other.

A good night out, but the food didn’t quite live up to expectations given the google ratings and the price.

the service here is 10/10!! staff is very attentive and didn’t take long for the food to arrive loved the calamari and recommend especially if anyone prefers acidic flavours!! pasta chicken alfredo: 9/10. the dish was creamy and filling, and very satisfying if paired with the calamari. the chicken was simple but lacked a bit of salt. gamberi: 10/10!! i really appreciated the rich flavour of the pesto with the nuanced taste of the prawns on the pasta. raspberry sorbet: 9/10 i really enjoyed the bittersweet taste of the raspberry and i really reccommend. vanilla ice cream: 8/10 classic flavour everyone loves!! the chef also very kindly included desserts on the house a big thank you to the chef and staff for the amazing experience here at la cucina!!

Fab lunch place!

Calamari entree was delicious and we shared a carbonara and a pasta. Both were cooked very well. Good selection of wines.

The only downside is that this place is very noisy during lunch so expect to raise your voice if you’re trying to have a conversation.

Fantastic place! We were a walk in but on such a busy night being Valentine’s Day they still accommodated us. The food was amazing! Every dish we wiped the plate clean! Great Italian restaurant in the city! Hidden gem! Can’t wait to go back !

This restaurant is undoubtedly a premier spot for fans of Italian cuisine. First of all, be sure to make a reservation before visiting; however, you might get lucky and find a counter table available without one. Even with a reservation, you may have to wait until the staff invites you to come in and take your seat at the table.

But trust me, it’s absolutely worth it, you’ll enjoy wonderfully prepared Italian dishes like pizza, pasta, and more. We sampled both their pasta and pizza, and I can confidently say that they were among the best we’ve ever tasted and could rival authentic Italian restaurants in Italy.

If you’re a fan of pizza, pasta, and other Italian specialties, this is the place to go. They also have a bar that serves excellent drinks and cocktails.

First time eating at this restaurant. Overall, food and staff were great. Special mention to our waiter Coni who was so helpful and friendly. My partner and I ordered the Aglio Olio and Carbonara pastas and we both would highly recommend. The tiramisu and sticky date pudding was also a hit and a great way to end the meal. It was so good that we ordered an extra Funghi pizza for home. Highly rate and well worth the wait.

The calamari was fresh and tender, the carbonara pasta was rich and creamy without being too heavy, and the pizza was also very good with a nice crust.
The prawns were a highlight — huge and very generous!
Definitely a place worth coming back to.

The service & atmosphere is very good.
Food though…. Did not taste very good.
Alfredo has dry chicken. It was hard to eat. After the 3rd bite, the sauce was so thick I also felt it was too heavy. Since it was quite expensive, my bf and i tried to finish my portion… thankfully it was a small portion.

I felt like I wasted $36 and did not get bang for my buck financially and carb intake. I wanted to eat something bit nicer without worrying about carbs but dayum… I just ate carbs and it wasn’t nice… 🙁

Sadge…

Thank you for serving us nicely tho & beautiful atmosphere.

Service is mid, they never ask how your table is doing and forget to get serving spoons/ water/ cups for party.

The fungi pizza was good the other two pizzas tasted like dominos. The pastas were decent but the risotto was undercooked and crunchy. Hit and misses. It’s definitely not authentic Italian food tho. Expensive for what it is tho.
