I went in the morning hoping to try their pre-hispanic menu but they were only offering grilled lamb during their morning service. However we were not disappointed. We had the tacos dorados, soup and lamb barbecue. Salsas were fresh, meat was juicy, and everything was well seasoned. Server was also very charming and friendly. It was one of the best meals we had in terms of quality and price, especially compared to the upscaled restaurants we went to in Roma Norte or Centro.

Wonderful hole in wall kind of place where you can try food you might not otherwise eat. We had ant larve and flying ants as an appetizer (escamole and chicatana) and then an escamole taco and finally a scorpion taco. It took a bit to psyche myself up to eat the scorpion. I figured that I might was try and that I’d regret it if I backed out. It was fine! crunchy.
