Wonderful food. Our server was very sweet and efficient. This was our first visit, since we are from the Jersey Shore, but we will be sure to visit again the next time we are up north to visit our family. I heartily recommend the moussaka. They serve a generous portion and it absolutely tastes like home – even if you are not Greek.

Opa Grill was a good, family-friendly restaurant in Kenilworth. Tried it for the first time. Everything was fresh and flavorful. When we walked in, small restaurant, however you can feel the family love within the place.
I think one of the owners was making homemade food at one of the tables. I loved seeing what’s homemade is put into cooking.
Service was great, all payments are accepted, parking is available outside and within walking distance to Opa Grill. Small and quaint for some good Greek food!

Got a complimentary pita bread with hummus at the start. Loved the pita bread.
Had ordered Moussaka which comes with a complimentary soup/salad. We tried the Chicken Lemon Rice soup. Felt the soup little salty and bland. But some may like that mild flavour. Moussaka was delicious.
Also ordered Baklava. It was dense and the portion was larger than expected. It’s very sweet and heavy to eat. But I guess that’s how Baklava usually is.
Attaching Menu for reference.

I’ve ordered Opa takeout a few times and it’s always been solid, so my wife and I decided to go eat at the actual restaurant for a change. Firstly, they have a great little outside dining area. Right on the sidewalk in front of the store, they decorated nicely with potted plants and strings of light overhead. The food was good to very good; typical Greek bistro type menu: gyro and souvlaki platters, branzino and shrimp and all the usual spreads and dips with pita. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was fine. Very friendly and accommodating, if maybe a tiny bit inattentive. My wife had to go inside to ask for the check when we were clearly ready to leave – a petpeave of mine. But overall enjoyable experience and a definite recommend especially if you’re looking for a place to eat outside.

I have been here about 4 times in the last 3 months and every single time it has been perfect. Have enjoyed their ribs, stuffed flounder, lamb chops and just had yesterday branzino. Their food is just delicious , the lemon potatoes always perfect and the pantzaria they give you with the pita is my favorite snack. Their waiter Grace has served us before and is always so kind and courteous. They even gave me a complimentary to fo, side of pantzaria as she noted how much I loved it 😉
I will definitely come again and continue to try every item on their menu . Love the sidewalk seating and BYO is the way to go! If you forget your bottle , don’t worry just take a walk down the sidewalk to Kenilworth liquors.

Terrible. Don’t come here. Waited for 30+ minutes for the food. The waitress didn’t know anything and had to ask other staff for responding to very basic questions. Worst of all, the staff lied to me saying that the lamb kebab had 10 oz of meet so that I’d choose it over the supposed 8 oz lamb leg. The skewers were over 60 % veggies and there was at most 3 ounces of lamb. They scammed me.

Small Greek restaurant located on the Boulevard in Kenilwoth. The tables outside are large and the sidewalk is very wide, making the experience of dining al fresco very pleasant. The portions are fairly large and the food and service were overall good.
Fairly priced and BYOB

I ordered here on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 for four gyros and a few pastries along with an appetizer. I requested extra tzatziki sauce on the side if possible. When I received my order I received the gyros with no sauce on them or the side either. When I called them I told them the situation and what thet could do to resolve it. They claimed that I had requested no sauce when ordering. But what isn’t making any sense is if I wanted no sauce and received no sauce, why would I be calling to complain? They refused to offer any type of refund or even a credit on just one of the sandwiches. I’m very disappointed as any other restaurant, even fast food like Wendy’s, at least does something to accommodate for their mistake. Attached is a pic of one of the sandwiches showing it dry without any sauce at all.

This restaurant is great ! It’s our first time here and the service and food is delicious. We came around the neighborhood when we were searching for a good Greek restaurant around short hills mall and this was on our way home so we dined in gave it a shot and it was worth the ride! It’s REAL FOOD, not FAST food lol . We will definitely come back again if we are around the area and definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone . Thank you Everyone at OPA GRILL!

The food here is amazing! I had the grilled shrimp salad and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The shrimp were juicy, the veggies were crisp, and the warm pita was a great touch. Friendly staff and a clean, welcoming spot. Highly recommend!.
