I don’t know how I haven’t heard of this place until now. My family and I came here for dinner yesterday and everything was absolutely delicious. I got the chicken and shrimp Mofongo with a mango natural drink. Everything was flavorful and authentic. The waitress was so sweet and friendly. It was so good, I got it for dinner again today

This place has great food, beautifully decorated, clean & great service. The servers were family & treated us as family when we walked through the door. And ‘Mama’ was cooking in the kitchen! There is a mural/painting of her on the wall. She came out & we got to compliment her on the delicious food. We had stewed chicken, fried pork chops, chicken mofongo, roasted pork. Our sides were rice, beans, plantains and morir sonando (creamy orange drink). EVERYTHING was delicious!!! The ladies restroom is decorated like it was in someone’s home. There is an area where you can play games while waiting for your food. Everything about this restaurant is very welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I’m glad when this authentic Dominican restaurant opened. The food is so good exactly like the food in Santo Domingo. The service is excellent and the food came out quickly. Great somewhat homey atmosphere.
I’ve been here a couple times and I have tried a lot of their dishes – all excellent. Some dishes like the pollo quisado comes in a little calderon. This is one of my favorite spots in Greensboro and even though it’s a little far away for me, it’s always worth the trip and I’ll continue going as much as possible.

This is an EXCELLENT restaurant. Never had Dominican food before and am very glad I tried it out because it is delicious. I actually bought 2 dishes, the stewed Chicken as well as the steak mofongo. Both are delicious, seasoned very well, very generous portions and were very reasonably priced. The interior of the restaurant is very clean and well decorated as well. The staff are also really cool and friendly. Definitely try this place out if you are in the area, you will be happy you did!

My friend and I went here for the first time the other evening and it was everything we expected and more! This place is an absolute hidden gem. I ordered the chicken and cheese mofongo with some yucca on the side and my friend ordered the pork with tostones and beans on the side.

The mofongo was rich with flavor and moist. It was not dry at all. My friend enjoyed her dish and said it was absolutely delicious.

I know places like this come and go. I really hope they around for more years to come. You’ve got 2 new fans!

Don’t hesitate, go check this place out. You won’t regret it!

My coworker & I came here for lunch and it was really good. We both got the chicken stew and water. When I put the beans on the rice, it was delicious! I got fried yuka, which was ehh okay. I didn’t know it came fried. So that was on me for not asking. And the ham and cheese empanadas were alright too. I’m just used to how I make them lol Overall, I think it was good. Presentation was good and the atmosphere was a calm and peaceful setting. I tend to go for restaurants that have a similar setting. The total for my food with tip was $24.25… We will be back

The Cuban and empanada were good. The pollo guisado was tender. On Sundays they have a variety of soups. I would come back.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since they opened, and this city really needed a place like this. It’s great to finally have more options and variety of this type of food. The food is excellent.

My wife usually gets the pernil con arroz y habichuelas, and it’s always delicious and perfectly crispy. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu since they opened, and it’s all been great. The BBQ ribs are on point, and the rice is so good you can eat it by itself.

If you’re a coffee person, do yourself a favor and try their café con leche. Está buenísimo.

The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re visiting family. Everyone here is extremely nice and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite spots in town.

I went for lunch and got the ribs, rice & beans, sweet plantains, yuca fries, and soursop juice. Everything was so good. Yuca was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Ribs were meaty and falling apart tender. It was a one-woman show in the front of the house, and she impressively juggles serving food, taking orders, and answering calls. Definitely give this family restaurant a try! I can’t wait to go back.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The food, ambiance, and service are all top notch. The décor creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the portions are generous for the price, excellent value all around. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

My wife ordered the mangu, while I had the cheese mofongo with a side of yuca and cheese empanadas. For drinks, we tried the soursop juice and the morir soñando—everything was absolutely delicious.
