My wife and I were looking for a place not far from home for dinner, she had already had their breakfast and she liked. She had the green enchiladas and I had the bistec a la mexicana. Both were so delicious, right portions, their rice and beans tasted fresh. Green salsa on the enchiladas wasn’t too spicy. We will definitely come back to try other plates, everything on their menu looks good. Whoever wants some homemade like food, this is the place to go.

Today we went for a walk and found this place “Cocina de Caro” on front they have a blackboard with “Special of day” (Friday) it was a fajita plate combination with pollo and chilito morron (pimientos) with rice and beans, hey the rice it was good, good taste , and Chile re-filled (chile relleno with white cheese), and milanesa de res with veggies and the veggies has a taste like “oregano?” pretty good! and the enchiladas (white cheese) en salsa verde on it, pretty good to! The green sauce it was hot (for me is fine, I like it ) if you don’t know if the sauce are spicy, asking first , in general is a good spot thank you to the 2 young lady’s that made the meals and God bless you “Cocina de Caro”

Their grilled catfish is better than The Rim in Burleson. The shrimp, tilapia, chips, salsa are really delicious and the guacamole is on a different level. My Dad hates guacamole and he loved theirs.

The restaurant itself is super cute and the staff was extremely friendly, however, this is the absolute worst food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Zero flavor, the queso was like cheese wiz, salsa was soup, my quesadilla was cheese, chicken, no seasoning and no flavor. The sour cream resembles coconut milk. Definitely not worth the $50 bucks we paid.

My brother put me onto this place and from the very first visit These ladies inside have been AMAZING not just in terms of service and hospitality but food quality as well. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you like tacos or even any kind of Mexican food come check it out.
