First time here. Plenary of parking, restaurant was very clean. Service was fantastic! Overall, a good value. I just couldn’t give it that 5th star yet.
My server suggested the half sandwich combo which comes with a potato pancake and cup of soup. I let her pick for me and she brought beef barley soup which was delicious! The Rueben was really good, although just a tad light on the pastrami for my taste. But a really good sandwich, nonetheless. The potato pancake had good flavor and seasoning but texturally, was a bit rubbery. It was difficult to cut and chew. Finally, the sweet tea… oh man it’s divine! Yum!
I’ll definitely be back soon to try other things!

Today, the place was busy, which says something good. The staff here are pleasant, kind, and will look after their guests. The place is setup in such an away that there’s plenty of room. They do keep this place pretty clean, especially between patrons. Even though I am not a huge fan of the potato cakes, it is still good. My go to is the goetta Reuben. It has just the right amount of flavor throughout the entire sandwich.

Only three locations left! No one makes sandwiches like Izzy’s. Greatly expanded menus. Original potato pancakes and kosher pickles make a huge meal with the fresh pastrami and corned beef. Outdoor seating for warmer weather away from traffic with secure railing. Ample parking and drive-through also. Great carrot cake. Staff personable and obviously enjoyed working together. Very clean. Abby was an excellent server. You cannot leave hungry.

I lived in Florence and NKY for 28 years and I remember going to the Izzy’s that was on the north side of 18 near the 75 off ramp and when that closed in the early 90’s I was crushed because the sandwichs and soups were amazing! I left the area in 2016 and was in town today for work and decided to try this new “fast food” version of Izzy’s and it was a real disappointment. First, a “whole” sandwich was $14!! What the heck? Second, that sandwich was absolutely not “piled high” with meat (I’d guess about 3-4 ounces) and the potato pancake was cold and chewy. The final straw was the rather pleasant lady at the drive thru took my credit card with her black service gloves still on, processed my payment, then gave my now grease covered credit card back to me. The worst was she then proceeded to make my sandwich with those same grimey gloves on. She likely wears those gloves to protect her hands and never changes them out because they looked well used. Absolutely disgusting. Does she also handle cash with those on? An expensive and entirely underwhelming meal combined with poor food handling safety means good bye Izzy’s, I’ll keep my memories of when it was a good product.

Great food & great service!! Potato cakes are amazing, not really greasy. Wife got the Thanksgiving on a roll but they made it in a wrap for her. The Pastrami Ruben was awesome!!! They offer a full kids menu & burger and sandwiches also. Not hard to get to from the interstate and worth the stop. It does rival Shapiro’s in Indy for quality.s

Thank Izzy’s for giving me a great morning while driving through Cincinnati. My servers were energetic and friendly. They gave free pickles for each table. The corn beef tasted juicy and fresh with Swiss cheese. The hash browns were crispy and amazing with ketchup.

We used the drive thru but our Reubens were fantastic as always, potato pancake crispy outside & soft inside, and it was finished lightning-fast! Also the woman working was SO friendly
