Never having had Cuban food before today, this was an amazing experience. We had the Cuban sandwich and carne con papas (sp) (beef and potatoes) this quaint little shop did it right. I look forward to being able to get the chance at trying more of the menu on a future trip to Downtown Lansing.

Wonderful little spot for Cuban food in Downtown Lansing, highly recommended. I have been enjoying their food since they were a food truck in Old Town and I am happy to have them as part of the downtown community. The empanadas are fantastic. All the food is great but the shredded beef is amazing and a real stand out for me any dish with the shredded beef will not disappoint.

This is a great place to get some authentic Cuban cuisine! It does take a bit to get your food but it’s worth the wait as everything is cooked fresh. Their Cuban sandwich is a delicious go to for my family and their seasonal in house juices and refreshments are a treat.

First time here didn’t disappoint. Great food, Latin music playing, but not too loud, and friendly twin waitresses from Cuba using their best English. I got to practice my best Taco Bell Spanish with them. I got the traditional Cuban sandwich (pork, ham, cheese, pickles, mustard, mayo) and maduros (fried plantains/bananas) with cinnamon. Sooooo good!

Food was bland plan old rice no flavor, chicken was all fat and bones. Plantains that were fried had zero flavor. Careful they give you one small bread and if you ask for another one they charge you for it and don’t tell you. We never even got our drinks until after we got our food and there was nobody here. That atmosphere was very hot they don’t have air conditioning in here apparently. I wouldn’t come back.

If you are looking for authentic Cuban/Caribbean cuisine this is the place. I’m definitely coming back. The food was delicious, it was so fresh and tasty. The waitress Sheila was very attentive and friendly. This restaurant raise my spirits, 20 out of 10!!! Also, the horchata was soooo good
