Absolutely amazing little restaurant. The service and the food was impeccable. You didn’t need a knife to cut the steak, used only my fork to pull it apart, it was so juicy, it melted in your mouth. Would highly recommend. Definitely will visit again.

Wine lists are well selected and will perfectly matched with your food. Staffs are friendly and understand the food.
My most favourite dish is rack of lamb which is freshly cooked and the sauce is amazing, softly melted with the meat.
Also making sure to save room for desserts. The banana soufflé is superb .

Embodies all the best things about French cuisine in a neighbourhood gem restaurant. We had a party of 10 adult family members to celebrate a milestone birthday, and it was perfect. The food was authentic and excellent at a reasonable price with good selection. Wine list was very enticing and the bottles we tried were all impressive and not overpriced. Parking and access was so much easier than going to a CBD. The noise level was also very low, which was important for a matriarch with hearing aids. Overall, a flawless venue for our celebration.

La chouette (aka the owl) is a quaint little place. We found this little gem on the internet. It’s hard to find good French cuisine that’s not in the city. Loved the scallops, escargot, beef fillet and the soufflé!

A super enjoyable dining experience. The ingredients were amazing right from the start. Also, the flavours and combinations of each dish were very unexpected. The chef and owner has always loved food! You can feel it in the dishes. A very charming French restaurant. My partner and I went on the day before Valentines Day. We ordered the snails, lamb and duck. Each dish used a medley of sweet, sour and savoury flavours which altogether created unique and memorable tastes. The restaurant was booked out the night we came however appeared very understaffed. Perhaps for this reason, the meats came out over-cooked. Our waiter, Holly, was very friendly and charismatic; she handled the high volume of customers exceptionally.

Mochi The Brave
Lovely French restaurant. Service was friendly and atmosphere was relaxing. The food was great. There aren’t many French restaurants around anymore so glad there is one locally. Had the kingfish for entree, duck breast for main and soufflé for dessert. All were excellent. Order the fries as a side to top it off! Will definitely be coming back.
