French & Spanish delicacies, plus wine, beer & cocktails served in an elevated dining room.

Skip the Escargot, not like Paris. The soup flavor was terrific, needs 3x the cheese. The Beef Burgundy was delicious and priced fairly. The Steak was delicious but overpriced. The creme Brule was good. Don’t skip the smoked salmon appetizer it was delicious. Bordeaux wasn’t similar to most I’ve had or maybe a bad bottle. Replacement was

My wife and I were looking for a nice place to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary and this place was amazing. The staff was very friendly, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was great with a candle lit and the table set ready for us. We told the staff it was our wedding anniversary and they brought us a small glass of champagne to toast with and gave us a dessert for free as well. I would definitely recommend and would love to go back myself.

Fantastic dinner with friends last night at LaChasse. Everything we had was so flavorful. Amazing wine list with prices to match every budget. The service was great too. Really talented team in the kitchen. They even make all of their bread in house. Shared plates of escargot, grilled Brie and the app special ribs. All delicious. And decadent. For dinner the chicken (so tender)with a sweet and savory sauce, NY strip cooked perfectly medium rare, and the crab encrusted cod. Honestly one of the best meals we’ve had in Louisville. Skipped dessert but had to get the espresso martini to end the night. Such a great local restaurant.

Some of the best food in this city no doubt.
Chef Alexander Dulaney is a master of his art configuring some of the most delicate interesting food this city has to offer.
His technique, passion, training and love for food, unique, local ingredients places him at the top spot as the best in the city.
For a unique dining experience and overall setting I would suggest running to La Chasse for everything great
This man puts his heart and soul into every dish and it is felt and tasted with every bite.
Not to mention the award winning bartender/owner who has worked at some of the best restaurants in the city creating unique cocktails you won’t find anywhere else.
This is truly a unique and superb dining experience from the chef, owner, servers.
The ambiance is amazing and intimate.
Great for a date night, party or just relaxing by yourself at the bar having a great time.
Do not sleep on this restaurant I promise you will not have a dull experience at all. Everything is amazing when it comes to la chasse.
You will have an amazing experience from top to bottom.
Specials are always on point. Service is always impeccable, and knowledgeable.
You will not leave hungry and always be wowd and amazed at the level of detail pit into every dish as like I said the chef has put his heart and soul into creating these very fine tasting dishes that literally speak to you from the plate. From presentation to delivery to taste this is one of the best restaurants in Louisville to dine at and it never disappoints.
Give it a try and you will be satisfied from start to finish and that is a guarantee.

I have been here twice recently and have had such a great experience. The menu is fresh, seasonal and creative. The ambiance is romantic and cozy. In our visits we have enjoyed the brie with a berry jam and fresh bread, the salmon and cream cheese crostini , beet and goat cheese gallete, steak tar tar, the salmon entree, beef bourguignon, steak and truffle fries, chocolate tart. So many great options! Would highly recommend. We made reservations ahead of time. Parking in back of restaurant and street parking available as well

Just visiting the area, n was looking for a unique restaurant. This was a fantastic first time visit! The food and service was great. I had 2 cocktails, the Smith & Wesson and the Triumvirate. Both bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable. And for food the salmon crostinis and their amazing special; A play on chicken& waffles, breaded rabbit with homemade waffles and a bacon/blueberry compote. Would def come back again!

La Chasse lived up to all of the recognition it receives. They messed up our reservations but took complete responsibility and entirely made up for it. Their food is exceptional… Chef Alex is creative with his menu and flavors. Every single thing we got was made beautifully and tasted incredible. We liked everything, but our top highlights were the Creamy Gruyere gratin (literally one of the best things I’ve ever eaten), Trumpet Mushrooms (nightly special), Crab Ecrusted Cod, and the Chocolate Mousse. They also have a Maple Old fashioned that is to die for and has a unique way that it is made. Our server, Patrick, was informative, pleasant, and funny.. all around great experience. We were all impressed and will certainly be back.

We found La Chasse on the open table app. We decided to give them a chance after reading a few glowing reviews. The staff was great! We started with a French onion soup and Caesar Salad for our appetizers. We enjoyed the Bistro burger and a special pork schnitzel sandwich as our entrees. This restaurant is well staffed and the execution of the food was excellent. The menu, wine list, and cocktail menu were amazing. We will be back and can not recommend this establishment enough.

Had always driven by La Chasse on the heart of Bardstown Rd, but had never stepped foot in it. We wanted to try somewhere new for an anniversary dinner and it seemed like a perfect match. Although there was only a few other parties in the restaurant, it still carried an intimate aura with an open kitchen set up to see all aspects of the restaurant at work. The Baked Brie with baguettes was a great appetizer as we looked over the single paged menu. I ordered one of the specials that evening which was their in house burger topped with fresh crab and crispy shallots and it was phenomenal. I also ordered a few international beers (Saison Dupont, Kronenbourg 1664) which were great. Would highly recommend La Chasse for any occasion if you are a local and have not been in yet!

We booked LA Chasse for a birthday dinner for 6. It is almost a secret. It looks closed from the outside but once you open the door, it’s a nice restaurant inside. Subtle decor. The menu is pretty limited. I think there was 6 dinner choices, 3 salads and 5 or 6 appetizers. We ordered the Brie app and a cheese board. The charcuterie and cheese was a great value. The baked Brie was just ok. No sweetness as promise. Berries, jam or a sweet nut may have made it more of a statement. The salmon was cooked perfectly, someone said it was the best burger ever and the salads were solid. I had a burrata salad but the Argus was very sour. The peas were delicious. Just wanted more. We had a tough time getting drinks and our server never noticed empty glasses. We had to flag her down to order as well. I think it’s definitely worth trying but service will prevent me from rushing back. I had been there once before and the specials are always a safe bet on satisfaction. The crème brûlée was technically perfect. Just a strange choice if targeting the masses. Something creamy and rich would have been more appealing.
