What’s is this . I love this place but after this i dont think i will keep ordering these Maduros are horrible. The amount of old oil in plastic is disgusting. I won’t eat this in my worse day . Someone should definitely make a visit to this kitchen. Definitely not A grade . C at best .

My wife and I were in the Ridgefield Park area and unexpectedly decided to have lunch at La Casa del Chef. The food was excellent as well as the service. I had the lomo saltado and my wife the saltado de pescado. Both dishes were delicious! The wait staff was on point, bilingual and attentive to make sure we had a pleasant visit.

Great food and table service. But credit card fee AND ”18% Service Fee” then I’m supposed to leave a tip on top of that? With all these garbage fees my $25 single item added another $7. Also prices charged are higher than on the menu. Sneaky tactics overall

I wish I could give this 0 stars. My wife tried ordering basic rice and chicken for our 11 month old daughter and the miserable lady caught an attitude. The sad thing is the chef was going to make our dish but that waitress or cashier or whoever she was just looked like she was angry with life so we decided to go to the Chinese Restaurant right next door and they HAPPILY and JOYFULLY helped us.
