I am happy to report that La Carreta has improved since our last visit. While the food isn’t the greatest, we truly enjoy the atmosphere, friendly service, and jumbo margaritas. The outside seating is perfect for people-watching during the summer. During the cooler months, the large interior has a unique style in each room. The service is always friendly and during this visit, we were impressed with the bartender. The Berry Rita was strong, flavorful, and fun!

Clean, nice place for lunch. Decent but not impressive food. Menu appears long but on a close review it is repetitive with minimal ingredients. Ok with current prices. Alcohol drink are large but barely alcoholic and from mix. Save money and get at decent place.

Came in on a Friday evening- were brought to a table immediately and within a minute had chips and salsa. Our server was very nice and had our drink orders in right away. (A blessing and a curse only in that the margarita was so delicious I had finished one before the food arrived!) The food was delicious- I’ll always recommend the chicken chimichangas – you’re in for a good time!

I ordered the taco salad. It had no beans no cheese no salsa no nothing. It did have chopped browned iceberg lettuce, two cucumber slices, two tomato slices, and little skinny strips of chicken? Very disappointed. Barely edible. Improvements needed. Won’t be back when I’m town again. ☹️. I like beans.

I have been here numerous times and have always found their food to be good, plentiful, and the service friendly. The lunch fajitas were good and we enjoyed the tacos. The shredded chicken was nice and moist, not dry like we have had at other establishments. The salsa that comes with the complementary chips is also good.
