We have just moved in to the area and have tried three different Mexican restaurants, this is the best by far. Staff had us laughing and genuinely had a great time . Jamie our server was fantastic. Food was great , chili Reno was huge . This will be our go to spot from now on.

Very authentic Mexican food. My family and I been searching for authentic food in the area for a while and La Cabana is the only place with it. The only thing missing was Spicy salsa Verde , which they didn’t offer. Very kid friendly offering a menu for them also. And there’s many vegetarian dishes.

We came in last night and the place was very busy. Yet we were quickly seated and our server came right over. This used to be one of our favorite places to dine in Hartwell, but it has actually been several years since we stopped in.
My husband and I both ordered a margarita. Mine was a frozen strawberry one and his was a regular lime one on the rocks. Both were very flavorful and the price was fair.
I ordered the chicken ranchero and my son and husband both had the burrito California. The food came out quickly and it was very tasty.
We will definitely be back soon.

Came today – first time for lunch and absolutely loved it. We’ve come to Lake Hartwell several times and LaCabana is now on our must list. Food was delicious – very generous in quantity – service polite and quick. Atmosphere was enjoyable – liked the music.

The food came out fast and was well presented. It tasted fresh and just as I expected. Great food. Great customer service. Very welcoming and friendly staff!

Ms Shirley ordered the steak and fries. I got steak with chili Verde sauce. Her steak was greasy and tasted like it came off a dirty griddle. Mine wasn’t much better, and the chili Verde sauce was decent at best. Service was good, but it was very quiet when we dined. There was maybe 4-5 other tables being served.

I gave this place 4 stars. The food was okay. It was plain tasting. Nothing stands out. I would rate the food as a 3 star. What pushed it to 4 stars was the service and the company. Excellent service! They will go above and beyond to take care of the customer. Hanging with one of my closest friends helped it to 4 stars.

What in the world! Ate here yesterday got home feeling sick with stomach ache and loose bowels this morning cramps woke me out of my sleep at 5 am loose bowel movement all day. 20 min ago during an episode started vomiting up all I ate yesterday while having a loose bowel moment. I don’t celebrate Valentine’s day and this is a clear reminder why I don’t do that and will never ever go there again. So far my wife and grand baby good as for me im the exception to that rule.
