My daughter and I just had the best experience here! The staff assisting us were so friendly and helpful. We sat upstairs and enjoyed the cute decor. The croissants were soft, flaky, and delicious; the eclair was the best I’ve ever had; and the macaroons were absolutely divine! I highly recommend. We will be coming again.

My sisters, mom, and I had a lovely lunch here. The goat cheese quiche was amazing. The pastries were so tasty. So worth the drive thru the tunnel! Everyone else was so friendly. My sister uses a cane and staff asked us if she needed accommodations on the first floor as their dining area is on the second floor. She didn’t, but it was so nice to be asked. We will be back!

Absolutely divine French bakery in the Neon district of Norfolk! Fantastic staff, service, and food! They made my daughter’s 22nd birthday a delightful and memorable occasion. We tried so many French specialties it was a wonderful delightful morning with friends. The choux came in vanilla, chocolate, and coffee so there was a flavor for everyone from the youngest to the oldest partier and ages ranged from19 to 60 years old. Chocolate and vanilla eclairs and even a St Patrick’s Day eclair with Bailey’s & Whiskey which my husband loved, loved, loved! My daughter’s Framboise cake was absolutely perfect for her as she loves a strong raspberry punch and it absolutely delivered and exceeded her expectations on every level. The Napoleon and Paris Brest were delicious too! A rhubarb tart was a uniquely divine experience as well. Our friends raved about it. The fresh chocolate, butter, and cinnamon croissants were truly extraordinary. The tuile almond cookie was divine! We enjoyed coffee, pellegrino, water, and Coke to drink. We had so much leftover to take home that our friends left with a lime pie tart and coffee choux. We left with a baguette, pan de mie sliced bread fresh out of the oven, quiche Lorraine, croque monsieur, vanilla choux, chocolate choux, and a raspberry tart. We even got a bag to take our baked treasures home with us. I highly recommend going to the La Brioche bakery in Norfolk’s Neon District . We weren’t disappointed and all of our expectations were exceeded! OMG, we just had some of the baguette for dinner and we all agreed that we’ve never really had a real baguette before today. The croque monsieur and quiche Lorraine were amazing as well. Everything we’ve ordered and eaten from this fine establishment has not disappointed and has been a truly enjoyable dining experience!

La Brioche is an amazing bakery and pastry shop. It is authentic. I make it a point to try and compare French bakeries and I can tell you this one is the real deal. Everything I have tried is exactly the way it should taste based on French recipes and standards. For those saying the chausson aux pommes was “too flaky”, there is no such thing. It’s supposed to be flaky. The opera cake is very moist and authentic. The macarons are amazing. Everything at La Brioche is made from scratch on premises with the best ingredients. The croissants are buttery and flaky. Absolutely perfect. The pains au chocolat are absolutely delicious and take me back to Paris, where I grew up for the first 24 years of my life. The baguettes are so perfect I can’t resist and end up eating half on my way home. The brioche is absolutely perfect. I like the plain brioche the most, but the brioche with chocolate chips is amazing, too. It is rare to find an authentic French bakery and we are lucky to have La Brioche in Ghent.

Everything we got here was amazing!! The chocolate mousse tart and the pastry with the kirsch creme filling were our favorites. I also liked the slight tartness of the blackcurrant macaron. The people working here are so nice as well. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and flavor. Would definitely come back if we are in the area again.

It’s always a good sign when you can smell the fresh baked bread a block away! Wonderful selection and even a place to sit and eat. The owner and staff are so kind and offered to make a unique cup of coffee! Awesome

We found this French bakery on a review of another “French” bakery up the street on granby that we had the misfortune of visiting. This was such a breath of fresh air compared to our other experience. The staff were so helpful and explained the best way to eat each delicious pastry we ordered. The space is small but warm and welcoming. We loved being able to watch the bread bake in their industrial oven. On the whole everything we ate was superb, but our favorite was the CROQUE MONSIEUR! As far as I’m concerned this is the *only* French bakery on granby and they sell much more affordable and tasty sandwiches too! It’s not a question of if we’ll be back but when!

If one were to go on and on how beautiful just the sandwiches are on the homemade bread, then we could be here for some time. This is what I humbly suggest. Coming from an individual that is a debutante of deliciousness. This place is an absolutely stop by and see for yourself destination. I’m a REAL FOOD junkie. You will not regret it.
