I’m really torn about this review because I’ve been to this restaurant a total of three times. The first time was a few years ago and I don’t remember loving it. But, upon a few recommendations more recently, I decided to give it another try. In the past couple weeks, I came here twice and both experiences were different. The first time I came, the bagel was really amazing; it had a crispy outside and soft inside, it was large in size, and tasted very fresh. The second time, I came back, again around the same time in the morning, and the bagel was smaller and not as crispy or fluffy. Both times I ordered the same thing which was an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. Even the cream cheese was different the second time…there were barely any scallions the second time and the cream cheese just tasted very plain.

Really good bagels, plush, soft and cooked just right on the inside and shiny and lightly done thin hard shell on the outside. I can’t get good bagels in other states so I bought a couple and enjoyed them and I love the toasted bagel with cream cheese and lettuce tomato and onion. Perfectly done and I enjoyed every bite. This cream cheese bagel only cost me $3 so I can’t beat that. Thank you La Bagel.

I’ve lived in Edison my whole life so safe to say I’ve been here like 692235 times. Overall no big complaints. I normally always enjoy my food. Obviously, times are different I worked in the food industry so I get it. Raising prices we get it but dont be ridiculous about it…and then you can’t skimp on the food.

Skimpy on the eggs and bacon. Looks better in the photo than in real life. I took a bite and it was all bread. If this is the best in NJ I don’t want to live here anymore.

Tasty food, fresh ingredients, excellent service!! The cold cuts are quality, and the vegetables are always crisp. The egg sandwiches are hearty, and the crossaints, bagels, and bread are fresh and delicious. Go here!!

Go in there to order a dozen bagels and quickly grabbed them and rang me up. I wasn’t finished ordering. I just want to order some cream cheese. She then preceded to call me a Baboso in Spanish thinking I didn’t understand. No sabes quien habla español.

Love going here. Their is a large array of bagels, various cupcakes and baked goods and they make wonderful breakfast sandwiches, coffee, the way you want them. Staff works hard to expedite your request in a timely manner. When I visit my parents in Florida, I’m bringing them garlic bagels because Florida doesn’t have them. Highly recommend this place and prices are very reasonable.
