I ordered some sushi rolls and asked if they could put them in a party tray, which they happily agreed to. My family was very satisfied; the fish was fresh and tasted great. We also ordered some ramen and hibachi; the ramen was consistently good, and the hibachi tasted now is better than they just opened. They seem to listen to customer feedback. We will definitely be back.

Very nice and clean restaurant with warm and welcoming staff who were super attentive. The food was delicious and fresh and they made an extra effort to make my birthday special by giving us some on the house mochi which I really appreciated!
Highly recommend the curry ramen, coconut shrimp and brown sugar bubble tea. Will definitely be returning!

One of the best Ramen places around. I’ve been to both Kaliubon Ramen locations in WH and Wethersfield and this place is better than both.
The actual restaurant has plenty of seating but I’ve only ever done takeout. And they deliver (no pun intended) on the takeout. The price is better than anywhere else I’ve been and the portion sizes are generous. I order extra broth and extra noodles every time and I have enough for an entire second dinner for only a few dollars more.
The staff are also very friendly. I really hope this place sticks around because the location is so convenient as someone who lives down the road and there aren’t very many Asian places in the immediate vicinity, let alone Hibachi/Ramen.
Their takeout bowls are also very creative (I’m sure they buy them somewhere but other ramen places haven’t done this). The broth and noodles come in the same bowl, but the there is a smaller bowl inside of the large bowl which holds the noodles+other ingredients. So when you’re ready to eat, you take out the smaller bowl and dump it into the main bowl so your food hasn’t been sitting in broth during the drive home. Everywhere else I’ve seen just uses basic Tupperware containers instead.
Anyway, thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Love the place! 🙂

Very clean. Had the bao buns, pork gyoza, crab Rangoon, some sushi and the Kyoto ramen. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Kids loved the popping boba tea. Highly recommend!!

First time in here as I noticed it was a new restaurant that had recently opened. Stopped by for a late lunch and ordered shrimp ramen noodles and chicken hibachi. Service was prompt and courteous and the food was very good. Not too many Japanese restaurants around and we found this to be deserving of a repeat visit. Wish them well as they continue to welcome newcomers.

Overall a nice dine in lunch experience. The sushi was good and the ramen tasted flavorful. We really enjoyed the ginger dressing on the salad. The only downfall is the kids menu items were nearly the same price as a regular item menu for less food. Next time, my kid will be getting off the adult menu. Other than the one shortfall of kid menu pricing, everything else was reasonably priced and portioned. I hope this business thrives at this location in Simsbury.

Came in just to check out the place. Amazing spot for a quick meal. I ordered the scallion pancakes as a starter. Came out very quick, they were cooked perfectly. Not too crispy not too soft. Next I ordered salmon and pepper tuna sushi, along side the salmon and avocado hand roll and yellowtail scallion hand roll. The sushi did take a while to come out, but they only seem to have one chef so you can’t really be upset. Especially because the finished product was nothing short of a delicious art peice. I will definitely be coming back, these guys are great.

Amazing ramen! Our family heard the ramen was good and it sure didn’t disappoint. We tried the Kyoto Ramen which had items we weren’t familiar with by name but were crazy good (like chashu which is a marinated pork). Beef Ramen was awesome too for those less adventurous. Got the kids version of the chicken hibachi along with an order of the gyoza. All plates were empty and we will definitely be back. Don’t hesitate to try this place, it was well worth it.

I am so excited to have this place in Simsbury! Went for dinner tonight and there were many dining- which was already a good sign! Our waitress was hard working and attentive. We got chicken hibachi and beef ramen which were delectable, but our personal favorite was the spicy garlic edamame! Looking forward to going back.
