Although we have been to Kyoto many times and different locations, each time was good. Today was THE absolute BEST visit to Kyoto we’ve experienced. Just what you’d expect…, but more! We met their awesome GM (I didn’t get his name) and he was super helpful and inviting. We had the three rolls (Cali Roll, Crazy Roll and Smoked Salmon Roll) and the chicken and shrimp hibachi. The Crazy Roll is crazy delicious! The hibachi comes with that soup….ohmygoodness, that soup! Everything was fresh and on Par. If I had room to eat more right now, we’d go back. #gogetchusome

I come here all the time and I never had any issues coming here, but today was it for me. I ordered lunch hibachi and asked if i could substitute the rice for noodles, which i was told by the employee helping the cashier ( who seemed new i never seen him there) that i could do that. When the food was brought out, the employee told me ” that i pist the chef off, for me to know for future purposes”. The message was not the problem, it was the delivery. Do better with your choosing of staff. It could’ve been handled differently.

This place constantly surprises me. You wouldn’t be able to tell, but this has some of the best Sushi in the area. On top of that, the value is great. You get a lot of quality food for the price. If that wasn’t enough, the service is friendly and excellent as well.

This place has quite decent food at a good price. I like the fast-casual style, so you pay at the front which means no required tip. The lunch bento was around $11 which is a great deal on a meal that will fill you up. There was no wasabi to go with the roll which was a bit of a shame. And the bento is definitely more American than Japanese style. The onion “tempura” definitely tasted more like an onion ring. That being said everything was still fresh and tasty, and the value is hard to beat. Wife and I enjoyed the meal.

My husband and I enjoyed the food. He got the chicken hibachi platter and my sushi was really good. My kids didn’t really like their bento boxes but that’s probably just them being picky. Would recommend!

I placed an online order around 7:00PM and waited over an hour for it to be ready. While waiting, I noticed several dine-in customers leave because their sushi took so long that they had already finished the rest of their meal. The service was extremely slow and poorly managed. Our hibachi was ready about 25 minutes before the sushi, so by the time everything arrived, it was cold. Overall, a very frustrating experience and not what I would expect.

Got upset with me because they messed my order up then brought it back out cover in eel sauce, the waitress seemed upset that I told her my order was wrong and brought it back with an attitude. Remember never to come back to this place!! Got the nastiest look while leaving no have a good day just nasty look from the same waitress that messed my order up. NEVER COMING BACK HERE FO SURE.
