We LOVED this place. The food was excellent, service very good. My wife and I both had the Salmon Bento with California roll and Edamame which proved to be a tortuously and temptingly huge amount of food, but we gave it our best effort. ❤️ One suggestion: add Japanese background music

Our go-to place for some good ramen in Skagit county. I have tried their Cha Shu Pork Ramen and Cha Shu Miso Ramen – they both have rich flavor! Chicken karaage is my son’s favorite. Will definitely be back!

Was a little worried when we arrived and it was pretty empty and there was no lunch menu. However we ended up being really pleased with the food, service and large portion sizes. It was very quiet inside – if the owners could add some ambient music it would improve the atmosphere. Will visit again!

Rolls were very good size! Ordered two because typically I need two of the standard rolls at other places to feel full. On the menu, they might appear to be a little more expensive vs other places, but the size makes up for it. I ended up taking 2/3 of my second role to go.

Got katsu chicken, portion was quiet large but, it was very very bland, but the sauce served on the side tasted like salt and only salt and not in a soy sauce good way. The vibe in the joint was pretty awkward and the main server just seemed annoyed that we were there. I really wanted it to be good, as a hole in the wall usually is, but this was a bust.

As soon as you open the door, you can enjoy the aroma of authentic Japanese food that we missed since leaving Hawaii 4 years ago. Portions are very generous and the taste is the best we’ve found in the Northwest. Sadly no to go orders, but they’re willing to pack up your leftovers

It’s our second time here. The restaurant has unique scenery. All food are delicious. Service is so nice and friendly. This time we ordered Bento, Tempura, and Ramen. They all are fresh and tasty, especially Ramen which is flavorsome. We do love eating here.

Fantastic always. By far one of my favorite restaurants in Mount Vernon. The food quality is always fresh. Everything is prepared perfectly, thoughtfully, and with detail clearly considered. This quaint little restaurant is perfect for quiet lunch/dinner dates and meetings. Keep the kids at home.
