This place is simply amazing. Definitely my favorite Japanese restaurant in Chicago. I live in south loop, with current traffic I drive for like an hour to come here to eat, and I’m not disappointed at all, and I’m sure I will keep coming back. Every single dish we ordered were really tasty and pretty big portion. The vibe isn very warm and cozy just like a typical Japanese eatery. Service is also pretty good. And the price is really good! Already can’t wait to go back!

Our first time and we enjoyed the special lunch for the day! I like that they use a thin batter to fry the salmon, the okra with octopus is new to us but we enjoyed it, the pork with onions was good! Everything was just perfect! Service was quick. Definitely, we will be back to try out their other dishes!

Delicious lunch bento. I ordered salmon Teppanyaki and it was so good. The staff were very friendly as well. The price is surprisingly not expensive. The portion enough for you to be full. Nice place!

Amazing. Partner got a Bento Box, I got chicken teriyaki and udon noodles. The portions were so large for the price and it all tasted amazing. Every item, every flavor from the noodles, the broth, miso, spring roles, fresh chicken and even the macaroni salad which I usually dislike. I’ve never had Japanese Cuisine that I enjoyed this much and I’m mind blown. Service was beyond quick and efficient while also maintaining a proper amount of attention to the table. This was an amazing end to ACEN.
