We loved the family feel to the place and service. Food was good, the fondue was delicious with the pretzel bread (excellent option for fondue!), the jagger schnitzel was so good and the veil was very tender. The pasta with sea food was also very good and what to say about the snails…OMG!

It was our first time at Kurt’s. We just got married and wanted something really special. Some of our first dates was at “Kurt and Vreny’s” before we moved to Central GA, and we had been following Kurt’s on SocMed since it opened. For a romantic dinner capturing a bit of long gone nostalgia and amazing German style fare it was perfect. Long ago you could order schweinshaxe without much regard for if it was available, buy now you do need to put on the day before to have it. We instead ordered the Swiss Fondue and the Bavarian Platter for 2. It was excellent! I cleaned my plate without lifting it and using only my fork. We got what we paid for and I’ll be happy to do it again!

Hands down one of the best European spots I’ve been to! The food is solid and comforting, especially the currywurst sampler and the pork shank with perfectly crispy skin and tender meat. The Bavarian Feast for Two is great for sharing. The self-pour wine wall and beer flights make the experience even better. Don’t skip dessert—we had the table-side Bananas Foster. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

We had driven a little over an hour to get here, and we ordered the Bavarian pretzel and the whole apple strudel to go. They not only gave us them to go, but they also wrote us very clear heating instructions so that we could have our food fresh and delicious when we got home.

We went for my son’s birthday tonight. We got there at 4pm. The bar was open, but not the dining room. They were so nice and gave us the private booth. Service was top notch, and the food was awesome. The appetizers are the best in town. The fondue is to die for. The meals were fantastic. It’s worth the drive if you don’t live nearby.

Carefully crafted German cuisine – fondue, fluffy Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese, escargot, potato soup, potato pancakes, tangy German potato salad – amazing flavors with subtle use of herbs and spices! Came here for a date night with my wife. Sat in quiet back room in a comfortable booth with nice European decoration. Sam, our waiter, was courteous and professional and was quick to give us a run down on the specials and favorites on the menu.
My wife got the mussels for an appetizer and I ordered the potato soup. The potato soup was delicious as expected since the soups I had previously in Germany were the best I had ever had. But the Moules A La Creme(the mussels) were AMAZING. We asked for 3 loafs of the bread(which was also incredible) just to soak up as much of the Riesling sauce that we could.
My wife got the special crab stuffed red snapper and I got the Jager Schnitzel with veal. Both were well plated and filling and satisfying to the last bite! Lastly, we had a bananas Foster for dessert freshly made in front of us by Chef and Owner Kurt! Sorry I didn’t get pictures of the flames! We will return!
