This Kura Sushi location has been holding it’s consistency of food quality over the years. However there has been a slight drop in cleanliness and service. Even with the recent short comings, this Kura Sushi location is still an easy recommendation for localized sushi and Japanese food with some authentic flair tossed in.

If you’ve been to a Kura Sushi location, this one is no different. You can get decent to good quality “localized” sushi at a reasonable price. It isn’t as cheap as it would be in Japan but that is expected. I have noticed that this particular restaurant isn’t as clean as it used to be. There was noticeable food stains/particles on the table, seats and at the plate return area as well as trash on the floor. We also had to wait for around 25 minutes as the staff informed us they were short people so they couldn’t operate at full capacity, meaning there was tables and the counter area that were vacant. The staff also seemed tired and “overworked”. They weren’t as friendly as I remember them being. Thankfully the food is still as good as I remember at this location. You can order made to order dishes or pull off the conveyor belt. Both seemed to be prepared fresh with fresh ingredients. The limited time Kirby Rolls are worth trying. Not incredibly unique but a fun combination that isn’t normally found on the menu.

One thing that the staff wasn’t able to answer was about the Bikkura Pon game where you get a prize for returning plates. We had to figure it out on our own since it seems they weren’t briefed or trained on how the app works. You can place orders with through the screen at your table on through the app. The app has some menu items that count towards your plate count but if you order through the screen/monitor, you don’t get that item counted. The staff were unwilling to help or confirm this. Not a deal breaker as it’s just for the free prizes you can get but something to take note of. We missed out on 2 rewards because of this though.

Overall, this Kura location is still worth coming to as the food quality is still up to standards. Be weary though of some cleanliness issues and tired employees. Hopefully management is able to remedy these small issues before it becomes a major problem.

I went with my boyfriend and we love this place. It has become a staple weekend date night. Love the food (ponzu garlic salmon is my fav) and easy to pay. It’s actual revolving. The waitresses refill your drinks before you’ve even taken a sip, they’re amazing!

The sushi that comes out for a lot of the options aren’t overly sauced which I find great. Many are light and refreshing like the garlic ponzu salmon (one of my favorites). Their Fried Takoyaki and other made to order food always come out nice and hot as well. The prices are reasonable but they will add up! It’s pretty much 3.50 for mostly all the dishes. And if you get 15 plates you get a little prize ball as well! And an additional one at 25. I am a little disappointed that another customer put a plate back on the conveyor belt but they took it off fast as I didn’t see it a second time around. Also a little disappointed one of our salmon orders was replaced with a cucumber dish but besides that everything came out great!

Mediocrity at best. Sushi tastes fine but the extreme wait between the conveyor belt refills was ridiculous. There were multiple times when both sides of the belt were empty along the entire length. Which killed the atmosphere and we had to resort to ordering from the computer. Extreme minimal personal interactions which made us feel like we were eating at a food hall. I will not be returning

This was tasty and the restaurant was clean. Friendly service and prices were actually good. After 50 plates you get a gum ball prize which was nice. I’d go back. You will like it too.

Super bad. All plates are empty on line. No one talk with us about this problem before. We was waiting 15 mins and decided to order sushi plate on machine. They gave us 15 mins for waiting 9 small dishes then machine said kitchen busy to receive more orders. So only 9 plates (2 pieces on plate) for 4 people. It is just one or two regular dishes at different sushi restaurants. The machine keep saying kitchen busy and no more order till 10 mins. We must go to different restaurant. They should know their kitchen busy and not accept more guests. Why we go to belt sushi and order by machine even it didn’t accept order. Bad service, bad restaurant. Will not go here again

I can’t put it into words how much my wife and I love this resturant… other than I just reached 1,000 lifetime plates on their app.

The atmosphere, prizes, and employees all create a wonderful place to plan a date night or to take your family & friends. We absolutely love the prizes and collaborations they do, I think we have around 80 or so prizes capsules at home.

When I first went here I didnt like sushi, but now I’m eating everything on their menu. The revolving belt helped a lot with picking what to eat next, as they keep it fresh and restocked even on busy days. They also have this cute robot that delivers your drinks, we always thank it and wave bye .

Ill gladly keep coming back for date nights with my wife, or an outing with the family.

Went with my family to this promising restaurant and was so disappointed staff was not welcoming at all. Not even a “Hello” or “We will be right with you.”
Fair warning, especially for older folks…everything is digital, you have to scan to check in, order from the screen, on a large belt of sushi, there were only 2-3 available. The Inari was soggy and not fired and crispy, food that was made “fresh” tasted like leftovers. Shrimp is very little, even iced water was something you had to order on the screen. Nobody asked if it was our first time there, there were no signs mentioning you had to order on the screen. We stayed there waiting for s seat, and when we sat we waited several minutes until we realized we had to order water from the screen. Floors were sticky and gross. You need to spend $50+ to get a “prize” worth $2. We paid our bill of what was ordered and left to eat dinner elsewhere.

My photos are showing the sushi belt and what was available to eat. Nothing was made fresh or put out.

They’re not AYCE and each plate is priced a la carte. You can order on the tablet or pick what you see off the conveyor belt. Anything ordered off the tablet will be prepared and then lightspeed delivered to you on the conveyor belt that’s between the revolving belt. Sorta cool to see dishes fly by.

Sushi was decent and the salmon belly nigiri was my favorite. They give you fresh wasabi, so don’t skip out on that — it really heightens the sushi.

After you’re done, don’t call for the server, but get your plates tallied with this thing they have at your table where you can deposit your empty plates for your total damage. For every five plates, you get a story to watch that builds on another. If you have fifteen plates, you get something from the gacha machine above to your side. It’s pretty fun seeing the mystery ball roll out of the gacha machine and into your hands. Kura was having a Demon Slayer collaboration when we went in July, so we got two balls out of the machine, which had a lanyard and a pin. Pretty cool prizes for just eating plates of sushi!

Food was 3.5 stars and I’m bumping it up to 4 stars for the toy prize aspect of this meal.
