Nice wine menu and house wine very fairly priced. 2 Chianti’s were ordered.
Ordered the grilled vegetable appetizer and a personal pizza with broccoli.
First out was the bread pre-appetizer with a very delicious olive oil/garlic/cheese dip. Bread was home baked there and amazing with the dip.
The real winner was the grilled veggie plate. One of the best dishes we’ve had anywhere. The balsamic/olive oil reduction was fantastic. Highly recommended choice.
The pizza was good, should ask for well baked but nice size and good cheese/sauce ratio. Definitely worth the price.
At this point every tabel was taken and a waiting line had formed out front.
Will go back for an entree, they all looked amazing flying by on the server’s trays.
Excellent wait staff. This is a serious foodie establishment with a well run group of pros.
The waiter Paul was friendly and accommodating. Really good Vodka sauce. Definitely going back.
August 2025 Update: We returned and I still feel this is the best tasting Italian in the MB/NMB area. I added 10 more pictures including menu captures for prices. We had the app for 2, soup, and dessert – all fantastic. It did get busy, I’d recommend reservations during high season. For a hidden off the main road gem, it is well known and attended.
Original Visit: the food here was fantastic, I think Capriccio has become my favorite Italian restaurant in the MB area. A group of 8 of us had a reservation made through the internet which was easy and quick (summer season might be more of an issue, we ate in October). Upon arrival we had a nice table setup and a very attentive and pleasant waitress. Some of our group had a salad, but my wife and I had the Pasta Fagioli (soup) which was fantastic, I recommend the soup over a salad. I had Veal Marsala (excellent) and my wife had Pasta Pescatore (large enough to feed three – we shared her left overs for lunch the following day). Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. For dessert, my wife and I shared Tiramisu, one of the best either of us have ever eaten. Our waitress was attentive throughout our meal and separated all our checks with no issues.
When I called and ordered over the phone I asked if I can also get calamari added and I’ll pay the difference. Apparently they cannot take special orders.
The shrimp looks like it would be very flavorful but it’s not…. it tasted like they squeeze a lemon over it and put some bread crumbs and garlic but not very flavorful. I showed a picture to my friend and she said it the pasta looks very dry. I said yeah it pretty much is; it tasted like they put a little bit of butter and lemon juice on it. This plate is literally nothing special it’s extremely disappointing especially for the price I paid. I didn’t care for the bread so I tried to give it to my dog and she wouldn’t even eat it.
