What a turn-a-round! We came several months ago amd the kitchen staff was cussing so loud you could hear it in the dining room. My daughter was 5 at the time. As we were leaving, it seemed they were even starting to get into a fight. It was chaos! It my little girls favorite place so it was a huge disappointment to see such a lack of management.
BUT today we tried again. I dont know that anything was intentionally corrected or if it was just a good day, but the staff was attentive, nice and professional! Thank you… my daughter has her her favorite burger option back!

Lights were off and it looked closed. I stopped because Google said it was open. The drive thru speaker was echoing so the cashier asked me to pull around. I tried to order the pick 5 for 8.99. She told me they no longer had that and charged me individually for my items. While I waited, I checked the app and I told the cashier the app still showed the pick 5 for 8.99 and she said it’s only on the app. I didn’t get a receipt and when I got my food I pulled over and checked and they had left off some of my chili cheese pups. I parked and went in to get the food that they left off and while waiting I saw the pick 5 for 8.99 clearly on the menu and I explained to the cashier that I was overcharged and didn’t get a receipt. She said “Well it works out to be the same price”. Which it does not. The chili cheese pups they gave me were on hard stale buns. So hard I couldn’t even eat them. There was a number for a person posted that said if you don’t get a receipt or if you’re told the system is down to call and report it. I wrote the number down and told the girl I was going to call and report being overcharged and that I hadn’t been given a receipt. She immediately began texting someone on her phone..apparently that same person..because when I left and called the number, I was sent to voicemail and even after leaving a message with this information, I never received a call back. It is apparent the people working don’t want to do anymore than they have to by leaving the outside lights off, serving old stale food and not correcting an overcharge situation. This was the worst Krystals I have ever eaten and I wasted 37.00. I will never go back there again and I highly recommend everyone drive the extra miles and go to the Calera airport exit Krystal location. The food was disgusting. It made me not want Krystals for a long time.

Friendly but understaffed–felt bad they were literally abused by impatient drive-thru customers today (8/5),-I watched a man in a white ranger honk his horn incessantly and then flip them off. This location is always out of food. Wanted to get a Chilli chesse fry and some Krystal’s. Was told they are out of Chilli and the Krystal’s would take 15 mins to cook. Mind you they still have an hour and a half till close. The last time I went to this location was over a month ago and was told the same thing they are out of Chilli. Idk how hard it is to make sure your inventory is full of everything needed operate a fast food restaurant but this location is never busy maybe 10 orders per hr so that makes it even worse that they can not keep the inventory in the green. Poor place to try and get food and the workers are never friendly. M8ght as well close th8s location like they have every other one.

Watched multiple cars come by and get ignored long enough to leave by the two employees inside on their phones and I sadly gave up too after tryna be patient. Weren’t remotely closed they even told me to come thru the drive thru rudely thru the front window then never came to the drive thru. Whole ordeal was like 20 minutes of waiting and never even got to place my order. They clearly weren’t interested in taking my or any other potential customers money. I really wanted some Krystal but i don’t wanna spend gas money going outta my way just to have to go to the purple onion next door bc nobody wants to make my food. Apparently based on reviews this is a regular problem. Crazy ♂️

Sunday 6:37 pm I got an online order , first attempt to come in door was closed all stuff was sitting on customers eating area . Noone move and somebody try to say me we don’t have order . They are liers . I used the drive thru no one moved this is ridiculous. Go out of business asap

My order had to be made 3 times and was still incorrect. I’ve been a restaurant manager for several years and have never had service so poor. There are still onions on my order and I was told there’s nothing they can do really. Do not spend your money at this establishment. Go somewhere they take a little pride and care about the customer. I would have never handled a situation so pitifully. Telling the customer there’s nothing you can do is down right sorry customer service. The patties were cold so I’m sure they weren’t remade. Please don’t waste your money here!!!

So I once did a review of this same restaurant with nothing but awesome things to say,but my last visit was horrible. My food was thrown in the bag where everything was upside-down…my Krystal burgers were literally folded in half. The coke was brown carbonated water. I have never been more disappointed in a meal. The manager really needs to look at the people preparing the food…they need to be restrained.

Man why can’t I do 0 stars I decided to give this place another try, already going in with helluh low expectations, and WHEW child. Where do I even start?
When we were ordering, we had to repeat everything 4 times. And they still didn’t get the order right. Had to ask them to change the small fry to a medium when we pulled up to the window.
We pulled up and it took about 15 minutes to get our food. The cashier tried to give us an “icee” that was completely melted and said, “if you wait a few minutes it will freeze.” She literally told us the liquid would just turn to ice like magic in 80 degree AL heat. She was deadass serious too. We laughed and we were like “uhm we’re good can we get a coke instead?”
The sweet tea was disgusting sugar water. No taste of tea at all. I had to pour it out.
I had low expectations for the food but dear Lord. I’ll give them a plus on the fries- they were fine- crispy, and well seasoned. But wow I’m impressed they were able to serve us the chicken that they did. It HAD to have been DAYS, if not a week old. No doubt about it. Completely rubber, inedible. I literally could not chew it. When I took a bite all the rock hard breading fell straight off. I’ve had bad chicken before- I’m talking this was inedible. The bread was stale and hard. The ADPH needs to send the health inspectors to this place. I’ll bet money they are selling old food.
Last but not least, my combo was $14.25 without tax.
