I had an amazing experience at Andy’s Pizza thanks to Jeremy, the bartender. From the moment I sat down, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. He really knows his craft — the drinks he made were spot-on, perfectly balanced, and served with great energy. What stood out most was how effortlessly he made everyone at the bar feel comfortable, whether you were a regular or a first-timer. Actual quality pizza. I usually judge pizza by the quality of the crust and I got a Margerita with perfect, crisp and thin crust. I really enjoyed the pizza here and thought it was worth the money. Probably up there with wise guys as best crusts in the city. I also had great chicken tenders and the brussel sprouts were amazing too. It gets crowded and busy, but that’s everywhere on U. Decent New York style pizza. A little bland for my taste but didn’t stop me from eating 3 slices 🙂 staff works hard to keep orders moving. Old bay fries had way too much old bay. Great spot for a bite post concert across the street !

Had to leave a review because Jeremy at Andy’s Pizza really made the experience. From the moment we sat down, his energy was welcoming and genuine. He knows his stuff behind the bar, made great recommendations, and kept everything flowing without ever feeling rushed. Watch out because that door is heavy lol! The food was really good. I got a pizza slice on my way back from a walk around the city and wow I should have sat inside because the flavor stopped me in my tracks. Will definitely be coming back for more and recommending to a friend.

Really solid pizza. I’m from Jersey and these New York style slices don’t disappoint. Definitely the best I’ve had in the DMV so far. Dining area is nice. No waiter service – you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Service was very friendly, despite us coming right before close. Easily accessible from the U street Metro station. I’ll definitely be back, especially after a show at 9:30 Club! (literally right across the street)
