Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Went here thinking it was going to be bad, we use to have them in Texas. They were ok, but went here and it was really good.

The cashier kinda helped me pick a burger, ended up the jalapeño burger. The service was great food was hot and tasty. Not long waits. Everything tasted fresh and no complaints.

Food- hot and fresh for what it is.
Restaurant- clean
Wait on food- 5 minutes or less.

Went in for dinner this evening and it was a horrible experience. We waited almost 20 minutes for the one and only cashier to take our order. She moves like molasses and we only had 3 people in front of us. Of course, she also screwed up the order but thankfully we had plenty of time to recognize her mistake on our receipt because service was so slow. I asked for no onions and when I read the receipt it showed “Only onions” so I went up and told her that she had made a mistake. She promised to fix it but I will never know because after waiting 45 minutes for our food, we demanded a refund and left. Meanwhile, there was a full drink spilled in the floor and I slipped in it and almost fell when I got up from the table. The cashier is awful, the service is SLOW, and the manager does not give a gram of damn. When I was up at the register getting a refund, a lady came in and wanted a refund as well because she had been waiting over an hour, A DAMNED HOUR, in her car for food that she had ordered through the drive-thru. This place is absolute trash and I will never darken their doors again. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Dude i used the second lane because it said both were open. i want to say at least 4 cars got ahead of me in line because no one ever responded to the second lane. not only that the last time i came through your drive thru no one communicated with me just grabbed and shoved food. AND i was missing half my meal (french fries and cookie) i understand yall get busy but cmon and even when i get my food it’s very hit or miss

Went in Thanksgiving day for a quick snack. There were a number of cars in the Drive thru, so I went inside. Food here has never disappointed. In fact, this store is where I found out about their spicy ketchup. I just had a regular burger and fries. Food came out in a timely manner.

The whole staff was awesome!!! My daughter hurt her finger a D-Bat and we stopped to get some ice for it. The manager GG was so nice and understanding. Turns out her finger is broken. I am just thankful for they kindness. I also bought some fries, they were fire.

It’s after 11:30 PM on a Saturday. Long wait time to order food. Several cars are waiting. Team members are somewhat friendly, just slow overall.

Despite long wait times, food was pleasant and well prepared. I enjoyed my meal.

Good service and good food. We had the bacon burger and chicken sandwich and were satisfied with both. There’s a large variety of sauces to choose from including the salsa verde and spicy ketchup, both of which were good. The shakes are also very tasty and thick. Only pity is the styrofoam cups. Recyclable materials would have been much better.

I usually do not have any problems with this particular Whataburger, but today was one of the worst experiences. I waited in line for over 40 minutes (I received a phone call at the start of my wait, and hung up shortly after). I ordered a bacon double steak sauce burger junior meal. They repeated it back to me, and when asked at the window, they told me the right order. I come home and open up my food to a completely different order that I found DISGUSTING. The bread was somehow soggy and bland at the same time. The meat looked GREY. I think I saved the poor sap this meal was intended for because this sandwich was REPULSIVE. I usually love this Whataburger, but I’m so disappointed and upset, and after working for 14 hours, too exhausted to even attempt to go and get this fixed. I would also like to add that the receipt on the bag said no onion on the “patty melt” yet there was still onions. How does that even make sense!

What a terrible experience. My friend had a hair in her fries and it took forever for my food to come out. The burger was fine, but the fries sucked.
