Good food, service, and time. Love the generational history and the old service style “ring the bell for immediate service”. Our waitress was great! She had a sense of humor and obviously likes what she does every day! I loved the alfredo w/chicken. My husband got the pork chops and they were perfect! We will be returning!!!!

Charming old-timey feeling spot with cheap prices and good service. We came near closing but got our food fast. There was a special for the day for 35 cent wings—and they fulfilled our order for a huge amount insanely quick. Nice spot when visiting Green Bay.

I just want to talk about the amazing pickle chips. Them things were thicc. The pickle chips were delicious and I’ve never seen a place that slice them this way. My husband also said the burger was great.

In the process of moving to Green Bay and wanted to eat at the famous Kroll’s. I ordered a large Asian salad that said it came with mixed lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, almonds, and chow mein noodles. I was shocked when I was served this salad which was basically a bag of iceberg lettuce and then some chow mein noodles on top. I was stunned and asked the waitress what this was and how much I paid for it. She apologized and said she was going to talk to the manager. She confirmed it was $12 and the manager wasn’t coming out to look at the salad. Pathetic salad. Never taking my family there. You need a new manager. Waitress was nice however.

Great location . I assume this dark old place is famous with the single hamburgers and lately good cheese curds. They are both good. We also tried Shrimps with rice. Coated French fries and booyah. If you like Mexican cold rice from a box with 5 shrimps, then this is the place. It came with side salad and potato bun. The booyah was also cold, oily, and from a can. For the same money we paid for lunch we could have more luxury places and much more delicious food. I am not a fan of Kroll’s West and would not recommend it.

The decor is fun and feels like an old supper club with the colors and rounded booths. The burgers and fries were also good, but the service was horrible the night we went. By the time we found the note on the menu telling us we had to ring a bell for service, and then found the bell on the back side of our booth, we had been sitting there for 10 minutes without a single staff member acknowledging us- and there were only two other tables of people in our dining room. Then, when we ordered drinks, it took another 10 minutes to get them because the bartender was doing shots and having a long conversation with customers. The kid waiting on us tried to cover for her saying that she was backed up, but we could see her standing there chatting away and doing shots. To top it off, she screwed up our drinks. Our waiter, while very nice, had no urgency. He only had three tables and never came back to check on us until our food was almost gone. Then he forgot the drinks we requested. I ended up going up to the fountain to get my own glass of water, and not a single employee noticed as they were all in the back. The bathrooms were also disgusting. One stall had no toilet paper and there was water and wet toilet paper all over the floor. If it was a game day, I could understand, but it was a random Thursday night. They had signs up saying that they’re hiring, so I understand that they are probably short staffed, but it would be nice if the staff that they do have had a little more urgency. We even had to wait for someone to come to the register to ring us up, and we could see them all just standing in the kitchen entry area chatting away. This place could be so amazing, but on 7/14/22 the service fell very short.
