Last night 12/12/25 I ordered the family chicken strip meal for the first time since they re-did their kitchen. First time in over a year.. The chicken strip fresh,hot,juicy,and HUGE!! The wedges and biscuits fresh and tasty, not hard and crunchy like before under previous management. Tried the Jambalaya for the first time and delicious! Also friendly staff and generous with dipping sauces. THANK YOU! Keep up the quality fresh food..Will visit again soon!

The staff will get you what you need, but don’t expect much conversation about options. This chicken spot is tucked in the back of a gas station, with limited seating and the liquor wall right behind the tables, which does bother me, but my granddaughter had a lot of questions.
Chicken was juicy and hot, service wasn’t bad, but wasn’t stellar, location was convenient in town, indoor seating was clean and came with a conversation wall.

I love these chicken tenders and the bone in chicken is good too. Really only 2 places in town to get great chicken tenders and this one is the best. You will be greeted by friendly staff and served fresh chicken! If you’re served by the awesome Colin, please keep in mind that he has Asperger’s and don’t take it personally. He does an amazing job and he’s smiling in his own way. I personally love the rice and beans with my meal but the Mac and cheese is delicious also. It has the atmosphere of a gas station because well… It’s in a gas station, but I hear the owners are set to remodel soon. If you want delicious chicken served with a smile and quick then this is the place. Sunday and Wednesday seem to be busiest and they can run out of chicken so it’s a good idea to call ahead if you have a big order. They close earlier than most places at 8 so get your chicken fix early.

The employees seemed more worried about doing paper work and monitoring the chicken. BUT the food was AMAZING. I always go out of my way to hit a krispy Kruchy, this was some of the best I have ever had! Employees seemed to just want to make the food and not help customers, but that’s okay, my food was AMAZING!!

I have eaten this chicken several times since they opened in Payson and it is pretty good. This time I called ahead to have it ready explaining to the girl that I just had surgery a couple of days ago and my physical therapist would come pick it up for me. I was told they wouldn’t take my order over the phone and the only way to order online is with delivery. I couldn’t ask my PT to hang around there while my order was prepared (20-30 minutes) and would she please take my order AND my credit card number in case that was their concern. I was still refused service and will never be back. Thanks for going a little out of your way for a regular local customer!!

Best chicken in town. Went to order today. On the electronic board above the chicken said $ 14.99 family pack. After we ordered we were told the price was double. They hadn’t changed the price on the board, so we got a smaller pack, and there printer was out so no receipt. I think they should have honored the original price, cause it was there mistake not ours.

Was traveling thru Payson and tho I’d try out this place and the food was alright but the guy that rang me up just seems like he didn’t wanted to be there, like every time I asked him questions his response seems very rude and looks and sounds like he just didn’t want to be bothered. I was gonna ask another question but just by his facial expressions and tone I just got my food and left! Was very disappointed because I order a 4pc the guy just gave me 2 small wings and a dried n’ hard brick (biscuit) Next time I’ll just try another place. I’ve tried other KKC love them but this specific one I’ll just keep on driving.
