We had the absolute BEST experience on Saturday at the Gainesville location. I brought my DIL who had never been to any Krispy Kreme (tragic I know) and my grandbabies and the staff really went above and beyond to make it a magical experience for everyone. They said it would be a few hours before they started any of the hot and ready donuts and when we told them it was our DIL’s first time and we had hoped she could try them, they made it happen. My 3 year old granddaughter was amazed at watching the donuts be made and didn’t want to leave. The donuts were great as usual, but the staff and the experience were AMAZING! Thank you all soooo much!

Admittingly I’ve never had a “bad” Krispy Kreme donut! And after visiting the Gainesville FL location I can continue to say that! Service was friendly and fast, without asking, the cashier even went to the back and got some hot plain glazed to add to the 2 dozen donuts I picked out. They had a great selection of donuts, especially since it was 5pm and rival Dunkin almost never has any donuts if I visit that late. The donuts were all fresh and delicious! I add a photo but ….they are all gone

There is nothing bad to say about Krispy Kreme. After running an errand I decided to treat myself. OMG. Ate a jelly b4 I even started the car.

The price of donuts just keep it going up like they’re doing anything differently, the staff always have kind of like a borderline agitated vibe and are just trying to get to the next person like you’re just another NPC in diner dash but the donuts are always amazing and it’s always been the same restaurant with functionality and vintage appeal. We love it.
Honestly the best donuts from any Krispy Kreme we’ve ever been to though.

The donuts are the best by far over any other. I wish we had one in Palatka. Everytime I come to Gainesville I always stop and get some to take home. Today was my first time having the fresh hot glazed donut . It was so delicious . The staff was really nice and friendly. Definitely recommend going here.

My experience was great. The staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Help me understand the online app. So I can utilize it better. My family gobble up those two dozen donuts at the blink of the eye.

I purchased a custom dozen donuts, plus a three pack yesterday that cost a pretty penny. I get home to find that literally none of the specialty donuts that I bought look like the pictures, literally none. Donuts were missing toppings and were made hastily. I’ve NEVER had donuts from ANY Krispy Kreme location I’ve ever visited that were made so poorly. I feel robbed, so I’d suggest visiting a local place over this chain store. There is absolutely no quality control.

This place has been here forever. With everything around it changing so drastically it does my heart good to drive by and see a little ole Krispy Kreme in the middle of the gentrification.
If you’ve not had a warm KK glazed donuts, why not? You’ll want to try one with cold milk or hot coffee. Hang in there Krispy Kreme we’re rooting for you.

There is still no drive thru at the Gainesville Krispy Kreme location, so you have to go in. Not even curbside pickup which would make things so much nicer than standing around like an idiot before you are waited on and yelled at. I try to be a nice, easygoing person, but if someone working the counter starts glaring at me and snapping at me as soon as I come in because they don’t like my looks or Southern accent or whatever, I start to tense up. This is the only location for hours and hours if you are coming in from the Nature Coast. It’s a long 2 hour round trip drive for me, and when I last went over 2 years ago, I was met with a horrible attitude and the woman yelled at me for not being able to pick up the phone while you’re driving there in the dark (I’m not going to go in there after 7-8 am). Apparently they were out of, um, glazed donuts. Yeah. They are always out of something. Last year, when I thought about evacuating during Hurricane Milton, the deciding factor was I could go through the Tallahassee Krispy Kreme drive thru on my way back home, so I got my Halloween donuts (very nice folks at the Tallahassee Krispy Kreme from my experience). I was considering working up the courage to return to the Gainesville location this week and get some Halloween donuts. But on October 28 they are sold out of all of the Halloween donuts. I can see things haven’t changed. The people here have no competition when Tallahassee and Tampa are the closest locations, so they can act any ole way they want to, and if they want to treat you like dirt, they will treat you like dirt and not even bother to have Halloween donuts on Halloween.
