This place is very unique to the Dallas area. Definitely one the best seafood places I have been! We had the popcorn shrimp for appetizer, bonus it’s gluten free and you would never notice. The dipping sauce is Asian inspired and so good. For dinner we had jambalaya and boiled shrimp. The shrimp was amazing !! We got the One Love sauce and did not regret it. If you’re looking for good seafood in Dallas I highly recommend Krio!

I used to come here because the food was fresh and tasty, and the service was both great. Sadly, that is no longer the case. The last three times we have come, the food has been extra oily (the bisque), overseasoned (C’Asian potatoes), or hard (grits and beignets), and the lousy service has been hard to miss. Plus, the last two times we have come by, over the course of a couple of months, the restaurant has been sweltering. When we ask about it, the servers just say that they are fixing the AC, but again, they haven’t fixed the AC for a couple of months. Maybe it needs new management, but even so, we won’t be back.

Cute brunch spot! Went for a friends birthday. The breakfast banh mi was amazing! I definitely recommend. Lots of flavor. I was disappointed that they were not able to make the Vietnamese coffee non-alcoholic. My boyfriend got the chicken fried chicken and was very disappointed with the lack of flavor. The chicken itself was cooked very well, not dry at all but just was missing any and all flavor. He said it seemed like they just forgot to put any seasoning on the chicken and in the gravy. The waitress said the gravy had a nice spicy kick to it, but it barely had any spice or kick to it at all, and for a Cajun-Asian fusion place, it was very disappointing.

It was pretty lit for a Monday they had a DJ and the food was amazing!!! But service was slow as if it was a weekend but they have vegan options and good serving sizes…so I will be back. If your not a patient person I wouldn’t come here.

Happy Hour was amazing, nice and quiet we pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. Quick service since we sat at the bar, their seafood pasta and sesame shrimp was out of this world.

Last visit: okay this is the third and most likely last visit. Ordered pick up. Blackened cod, fried rice, and spinach. Take out is packed in very flimsy styrofoam, and was boxed upside down – so it fell all over the counter and leaked all over the bag.

We ordered the crab fondue for an appetizer, and the seafood boil with shrimp and crab. The food (and drinks) were great! Our server was really attentive and nice. One slight negative was that it was a little humid and warm because the AC is broken. But they had strong fans circulating air that made it much cooler for us. I can’t imagine how hot it is for the workers, though, in this heat. The only other slightly negative thing I noticed is that the restaurant is decorated in a romantic way, but the large TV in the corner really throws off that vibe. I don’t think anyone was watching it so it wasn’t necessary. But I would visit again- hopefully the AC is fixed!

Went with my wife on a Wednesday night. Overall the experience was good. We ordered the jambalaya egg rolls, mussels with garlic bomb flavor, hush puppies, the creamy c’Asian pasta and the rice w/beans and sausage. The mussels were the highlight of the dinner. Everything else was just fine.
