I tried this for the very first time today and I really loved it. We did the grill option and it was around 20-25 a person with a drink. You can order tons of different meats and vegetables. The lunch menu is more limited but we still enjoyed it all so much. My favorite was the really thinly sliced beef and all the various sauces. They brought the food out really quickly each time we ordered. Hana was our waitress and she did an amazing job!

You can eat all you want..
Unless you leave too much.. Then they charge you. This is a very cool idea and I get the excitement. However for me this experience was lacking in a Lot of ways. We had never been so we thought there would be some instruction. The tables have grills in the center and stove eyes around it.
There wasn’t much instruction about how to prepare any of the food. Most of the food that was available was not something I usually cook at home. So some preparation or some instruction on how to cook those food items would have been very helpful. Suggested serving ideas for sauces or ways to set up the food. These kinds of things would have made a humongous difference in the way that I approached this eating experience. But our server was not very helpful with those kinds of things she didn’t answer many of our questions. For the most part we figured it out on our own. There was a buffet table with some additional foods that you could use. Sauces salts oils and anything of that nature were over there on that other buffet. There wasn’t much and of what was there i didn’t recognize some of the foods. It’s a good thing I don’t mind trying new things because that’s pretty much what I did the entire time I was there. We chose the Korean BBQ. Which meant we had the grill instead of the pot and since there was an extra charge for 1 of us to have the opposite of the other we agreed to 1 form of cooking. The grill gets a burn on it pretty quickly if your not careful so definitely use enough oil. Its fairly dark at the table which normally doesn’t bother me because the food is already cooked but because I was cooking I would have preferred a bit more light. I liked the garlic shrimp and the beef bulgolgi. The atmosphere is very trendy and fun. Good luck to any and all of you that find my little message in the world about this.. I truly hope you enjoy. The bar looked really well stocked

We had a great time. The ingredients for hot pot were fresh and choices vast. Brenda, Annie, Robert, and Riya all made our visit very pleasant. You have 2 hours to cook and eat. Excellent value, especially for weekday lunch. Each person gets their own pot. We loved the orange slices and sesame balls as dessert.

It was our first time at KPOT and we loved it. I would highly recommend it. Having not been before I was a little worried about some of the reviews that said there was little guidance on “how to do things” – but I can say our experience was completely the opposite. When we were seated things were clearly explained to us, while we were cooking someone came by to see how we were doing and answered any questions. So if that is holding you back, forget about it – go! Tell them when you’re seated that you are new to all this. (I will say the people delivering the food were maybe less helpful, but that is probably true in most restaurants.) We will absolutely be back next time we are in town!

KPot never misses. We were on the way to Albany and stopped by. We are used to more attentive service but our young lady was working the entire restaurant. (She was kind when she did come by). We are also used to more “bar food.” However, we would return. Management-please consider better lighting… we had to use the light on our phones to confirm that our food was cooked.

I was truly disappointed when asked is this your first time here and I said yes, we were showed how to order and that was it. I stopped 3 people to find out how to turn everything on and what works best to be completely ignored. Which in turn ruined my night after playing with buttons and such we got the cooking grill on and had to do trail and error.
I’m just upset that they ask and then don’t help or answer questions.
Food was amazing once we got everything going we did make it too hot first time around but corrected it for the second round everything was fresh and delicious.
For the price to be unable to get help or drink refills kinda made me experience less than satisfying.
I am on the fence about going back but communication is key especially when I said we have never been here… lol

I felt like a kid saying what do we do? Do I push all the buttons? It’s not getting hot imma push some more lol had to add my humor

Great social outing and great food. This is a special occasion place for me (been twice now). Plenty of options to choose from. It can be very overwhelming to people who are not familiar with hot pots and grill your own food, so for newbies I would suggest just doing either one but not both. The tables are big but it can be difficult trying to grill on the table and cook in your hotpot. But, if you have others with you, you have to do one for the whole table otherwise you have to do both (can’t do 1 person grill, 1 person hotpot, you’d have to pay for both for both individuals, but only $5 more each).

All the ingredients are fresh, lots of options including for our veggie friends. The staff are incredibly helpful.

It is expensive, and if you order too much you could get charged for it, but it’s well worth it and you can always start small and order more. 2 hour limit was more than enough time for us.
