Amazing and fresh food! BEST CARNE ASADA TACOS IN TOWN! Get them on fresh flour tortillas with their amazing GREEN SAUCE. Kind and attentive staff, the only downside was I went at night and had to sit in the dark. Had to use my phone flashlight to eat. You can see the flash in some of the pictures. I guess they struggle with lighting the whole restaurant.

Best place for authentic Mexican food in Mount pleasant imo. I had the Pastor tacos and my other guests had some with the Pastor meat. It was all so delicious! The chips and salsa are home made with the salsa coming out warm, which is awesome cause who wants cold salsa. The plates we got did not have rice and beans so you will have to ask for them. The young ladies that served us were very sweet and patient. It’s a sort of small restaurant but very cute. There were only a few drawbacks that I would like to mention but I am still going back. There needed to be more lighting over the tables to see the food and the occasional fly that might try to take your plate hostage. Then there are the flies. There were a few flies in there even though this is was indoor restaurant, this needs to be taken care of sooner than later as it’s about to be summer time and flies will be everywhere for sure. They need to invest in those large serving trays so most food can be brought out at the same time instead of 2 at a time as it leaves you waiting for your main dish for a bit. The young lady that served us took a very long time to come back to see if we needed go-to boxes or anything final like our checks which was kinda frustrating. Actually she didn’t come back, we had to go to their carry out window to get those things. Even with all of those things being said, I’m showing them grace as they are a small business in a small town trying to make it so I’m still going back.

Not the most up to date building but… the hostess was friendly and welcoming. The service was prompt. We are not Mexican but appreciate the quality food. We ate fabulous tacos, flautas and shrimp cocktail. We will be back!

Food is GREAT ,customer service is TERRIBLE, waitress kept talking to us with an attitude we told her nicely that we were missing some food and she said “yeah i know just hold on” and walked away. Everytime we asked for anything she huffed and puffed as if it was such a hassle. Then when she finally did bring it she says “ohh i forgot.”

This place has great tacos. It’s what we always get. Carne asada. And ask for the fresh handmade tortillas de mazeca. They bring you two bottles full of hot sauce. The red and the green. So you’ll have plenty for your tacos. It’s our to go place to eat tacos. We’ve tried other places in MP, and none come close to this place. We love it here. The hostess is the waitress and the cashier, so she can get a lithe busy sometimes. But she does a great job.

Didn’t appreciate the fact that the only thing I ordered to go was a coke and the cashier just kept my change out of a five dollar bill. My total was $3 and she only gave me back a dollar. That math does not math. Now I normally would have left a little bit of a tip but for her to just pay herself without asking or anything, that’s just not good business.

Homemade corn and flour totillas…need I say more?! The hot sauce is served warm not cold…wonderful! Everything was fresh and the waitress was very attentive. I think they were low on ice because my tea came with very little…but hey…the food made up for it!

Homemade chips & Homemade Salsa= “May we have more please…3 times”! So good.
Homemade Beans= Seriously, all 3 at my table kept complementing the Wonderful taste & texture!
Red Rice= The Best Prepared Red Rice I have ever eaten. (Sorry to my mother in law. But it’s true!)
Drive over now to experience the most Wonderful Mexican Food you will ever eat here in Texas!
I will drive the 115 miles from my Dallas, Texas home to eat here again. That good!
