First of all, the sweetest lady in the world owns this place. Great servers and waitresses .Secondly you get nice dinner glass plates like you have at your house., not the typical commercial standard white plate.

Went to Kuntry Fisherman last fish friday. And boy did I take advantage of the shrimp. They had gumbo as well. I made my own shrimp gumbo(added more shrimp, and had some phenomenal cabbage with andouille sausage in it. Bustin! I’m coming back for their steaks on weekend evenings. Place is great though I appreciated the hospitality in this small town. Soul food for sure. Will be back.

So disappointed !! Food was cold – not much to choose from , was not a buffet in any stretch of the word . Myself and my husband were not able to eat but a few bites , he’s picky but I’m not . Im trying to be nice but never again and it cost us $30.

This place is a hidden treasure. I have been going here and eating for over a decade since before it burned and they rebuilt it. If you are from out of state and want to actually eat like us locals, this is it. This is legit 100% soul food. The vegetables taste like they just came out of the garden. Fried chicken that’s better than grannies. Porkchops covered in gravy. Bread pudding that melts in your mouth. Try it out and support local business!

Great country cooking. The inside is decorated with a little of everything. Lots of roosters, a big mule, lots of old antiques and even a picture of my favorite entertainer Elvis. You just have to come and see for yourself. The owner is really nice.
