Koto is a refreshing and much needed establishment for the east side area. The outside may be unattractive and off-putting, but do not let that stop you. As soon as you walk into Koto, you are memorized with the stunning decor and ambiance. They offer a full bar, an impressive sushi bar, plenty of dining, tons of hibachi tables, and to my surprise, a lounge with couches and coffee tables.
I myself have a certain interest in Japanese food, I can say that the cuisine they offer is of very high quality! The sushi is by far the best I have had in the area, with a rather large selection. There is definitely something there for everyone. I understand that sometimes their menu can be intimidating for some (like my friends who came with us), ask your server, they are very well versed and are more than happy to give suggestions to help you find exactly it is you are looking for. Everyone was very happy with their meal choices and learned something in the process.
The service, as i touched on above, was excellent. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and offered some fun facts, marvelous suggestions, and her honesty was very refreshing. She was very personable and we were never without a refill. We also enjoyed the young man who ran out our sushi. You can tell that they all work as a team. We were also visited by a manager to ensure our time at Koto was a pleasurable one.
No complaints at what-so-ever. We urge all to give this, magnificent gem of a restaurant, a try. We will definitely be back to try all that Koto has to offer us.

This place is amazing. The atmosphere, the service, the management, and especially the food. The menu is brand new, the new management just expanded it – so many more new options, including a new fun drink menu for the kids! Full bar, and the bartender is phenomenal. Will always go back! Best sushi in Cincinnati!

Both the young adults and the kids alike enjoyed the Hibachi cooking and it made for a very fine gathering. They went above and beyond to cater to our unique dietary needs. My wife and I love this place. We go once every couple of months (we are students and can’t afford to do sushi too often.) We always have great service and the food is excellent. We have taken a number of friends there who want to try sushi for the first time and it has been very positivie experiences for them.

Beautiful restaurant (on the inside) and great service. The food was on par with other Japanese steakhouses I’ve been to, but they were above average with their sushi. They also went to lengths to make sure my fiance’ had a great birthday surprise at the end of the meal. Oh, and the cheesecake they gave her? YUM!

First time to a Hibachi grill for my son, daughter, and myself. Loved the entertainment from the chef and the food was absolutely awesome!! It was totally worth the money. Service was great and was quickly seated during dinner hours, and my server did a great job and answered all of my questions!! I will definitely go back and recommend this restaurant!!
