This is a terrific Mexican-based take-out place open for lunch hours. I cannot recommend it enough for their tasty & low cost dishes.

I was there last week for a convention and went there twice for lunch – I’d definitely recommend the brisket tacos! (yum!)

I was at the Mandalay Bay Hotel for a convention, and walked by this place a few times. We were finally lured in by the smell (amazing!), and the intrigue of barbecued Mexican food. My husband and I both ordered the smoked brisket burrito, and my mother ordered the brisket lover bowl and oh my goodness! It was soooo good. The brisket by itself was perfectly smoked and tender, the coleslaw added a slightly sweet element, the crispy potatoes added the crunch, and everything else together with the tangy bbq sauce…. Oh man. You gotta try it. We asked them if they would come to LA, because we would definitely be regulars, but alas, the answer was no. If you’re ever at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, please stop by. You will not be disappointed.

I am not a fan of BBQ so I walked right past this place several times over the weekend I was there, then someone said, “Try this place!” So I did. The photo is of the Smoked Tofu and it was possibly the tastiest thing I have ever eaten in my life and I am neither a huge fan of tofu or of bbq. I wish I lived near one of these because I’d be going there regularly!

Place just opened next to the Dennys on sunset! Service is always amazing and the brisket is my favorite! They cook it for 14 hours I believe regardless, it’s so tasty and my favorite thing on their menu. The chipotle mac and cheese is also amazing!!

I stopped here randomly for some quick eats. The lovely smokey smell drew me in. The lady running the shop was super friendly and genuine, and I went with the brisket burrito.
I walked by again later and had to stop and pay them my compliments. Absolutely delicious and nice texture. Looking forward to coming back again this week.

This place is the hidden hero of any large tradeshow happening at Mandalay Bay. Great flavor/freshness for lunch tacos or a breakfast burrito and solid service. Always my go-to for the couple times a year I’m at this convention center.

A little trek, but worth the trip!

MUST stop when staying at the Mandalay or anywhere in close proximity!! Over the top customer service and the quality of the food is above and beyond almost all the other smaller places I have tried. Our entire team ordered lunch from them 5 days in a row!
