Ordered the gyro plate to go. It was tasty and the price was right.
For parents, Kostas is kid friendly because it was a casual environment, not too quiet or loud. Friendly service. Wide aisles between the tables with space to navigate your stroller. Regular low tables for kids to pull up, or a bar height counter to wait for a quick to go order. Kids plate.
AND there were no TV screens! Which is a major plus if you lunch with distracted eaters. This gets a star and is going on my list of restaurants free of screens.

Favorite Greek restaurant in the city. Always fresh ingredients, amazing fries, and good prices. I especially like the beef, which tends to be an afterthought at other Greek restaurants. Employees are always friendly, and I appreciate the positive atmosphere.

We came at noon on a Saturday. No wait. Our Order Taker/Waitress was thrilled to see us, explained the Menu & the Specials and offered us a free slice of Baklava as first time guests.
Having read about the Hummus, we had to try it. Smooth, garlicky and seasoned to perfection. Then came the Gyro Specials that included either seasoned fries or a salad (with their amazing homemade dressing) and a drink, for under $10!
3 of us got the basic Gyro and one had the Meatball Gyro, which included traditional gyro meat and meatballs, all with tomatoes, lettuce, onion and homemade Tzatziki Sauce. Fabulous!
We saved some room for the Baklava and so glad we did. It was amazing! First time will not be our last! A must try if you’re in the area and worthy of the drive if you aren’t!

OMG! Been coming here for a long time and food is still so good! Delicious! Never a let down , the waitress Ms. Garza is oh so sweet and friendly…she focuses on what u want to order, that says alot about this restaurant and they are adding other foods to the menu like the lamb kabob, tried it today and its to die for tomatoes, peppers, onions , and some delicious mushrooms…thank u guys for serving great food…

Went on Friday 5 December. Almost did not go in because of it’s location. But glad we did. Small, simple, clean. Just like countless cafe’s and small restaurants in Greece itself. The staff were amazing and made you feel like you were visiting a friend’s place. If you want a fancy place with an overpriced menu, go somewhere else. We had the traditional gyro special. It was outstanding. Very favorable, huge portions and very reasonable price.

Best Greek food I’ve had in a while.
First off, this is a “hole in a wall” place so you know it’s good. The service and owner was very pleasant! It’s a peaceful location inside.
Very clean and organized! I was given good recommendations and was very impressed!
All the food was fresh and extremely flavorful. Every bit even the salad was perfect. Their food is all just about made from scratch to perfection! The food was so good – I switched my soda for a water so I could really keep the flavors of the food!

I take my mom to Kostas when I go to SA to visit her & it’s our favorite Greek spot & only 5 minutes from her house! They have the most AMAZING Chicken gyros & the pitas are so good! Delicious crispy seasoned crinkle fries, mouthwatering greek salads, y’all. The portions are huge & you will leave stuffed & if you’re like me, with leftovers! The staff is always so friendly. Please tip your server, they do so much more than take your order! Kostas has been a neighborhood favorite since the 80’s, I always remember it being there in that same old strip center growing up. I love me some Demos, but this place blows them away!
