I have to recommend this place! I found this place on RedNote. A pretty Chinese girl recommended it. As you know Chinese won’t cheat Chinese . They have high quality meat and very delicious side dishes. 90% of the customers are Korean so I already knew I am in the right place.
Even the soup come with what we order tastes very good .
We order prime reef, and the I don’t remember the name you order to get kimchi fried rice.OMG it is so good! Our server told us it will taste even better next day.
Everyone is very friendly and they check on us all the time to see if we need more small dishes .
Me and my fiancé come to this place every month when we visit in down.

Awesome korean BBQ restaurant. Their beef and pork are absolutely worth the price. The boss and the waiters are very welcoming and friendly. Perfect place if you want to have a feast time with friends.

Had a belated birthday dinner at Koreana. The place was busy but the staff are attentive to the customers and we were quickly seated. The BBQ combo was good, Yukgaejung was a complete dish in itself. Plenty of patrons were coming and going but we did not feel harassed to leave. If you crave Korean doshea this is the place to go. Price is reasonable.

Don’t order the chap chae, for $15 you get a tiny watery plate of noodle, its kids portion.

We were lucky, the night we have our BBQ they offered cooked rib tips as one of the bonchi dishes. It was so tender and delicious, hope they will do it more often in the future.

Our BBQ meats were fresh, well marbled and plentiful. It’s was nice that they changed our grill often as it was bit smoky in there.

If you have a group of people 4 or more call for a reservation or you will end up waiting for a while, this is not a fast meal, it takes time to grill and drink.

Definitely the best Korean barbecue grill I’ve ever tried! I would recommend to everyone looking for good quality meat, friendly and accommodating staff, and unlimited side dishes! We have been coming here with family, friends, and coworkers and always a good time. We love this place and the staff who are always helpful and make sure our dinner is great! Super delicious food and worth it!

Koreana Restaurant is located in a stripe mall in Schaumburg, IL. Make a reservation is highly recommended as this is a small, unpretentious Korean restaurant. The place is not fancy and got really busy and was packed with Korean people. It has a cheerful and fun vibe. We ordered a BBQ meat platter and it came with soup and side dishes. Also, we ordered the seafood panini (seafood pancake with scallion, shrimp and squid) and japchae ( stir fried glass noodles with beef and vegetables). We liked the banchans: fishcakes, kimchi, spicy cucumber, spicy bean sprouts, pickled jalapeño and onions and black beans and got endless supply of them. The tossed salad in gochujsng dressing, lettuce with mild spicy bean paste was refreshing. The seafood pancake was extra crispy and tasty. The japchae was a huge disappointment as it was watery and the portion was small like it’s suitable for a child. At $15, we had to return the japchae back to the kitchen for remake. This was the worst japchae we had ever ate. The remade japchae was better (still not up to standard) and bigger portion. Our least favorite was the shrimps because they were simply not fresh and too fishy to our liking. In our meat platter, there was a giant beef bone with hardly any meat on it. Why was it there on a BBQ meat platter?? This place was definitely a miss for us. We learned later that their food quality is not that consistent as other Korean restaurants. Owners should hire professionals to clean the restaurant especially the slippery floor.

Great place for some korean food in the suburbs! I’ve been here a few times and really enjoy it! Most of the food I’ve tried has been delicious and feels authentic.

The kbbq here is pretty good, you grill it yourself and they’ll give you lettuce and some sauce to make wraps if you want. Not the best I’ve had but still pretty good and price is fair.

The soon tofu is a bit thin in my opinion and came bland one time out of 3 but they were nice about fixing it. I like their Chap Chae and seafood pancake albeit a but pricey. But portions are all large and filling.

The decor is new, nice and clean, and they even have call buttons so service won’t bother you which I really like! Overall a good experience and place for some Korean!

I looked around my table just like I watched Korean movies in Netflix. Pack with Korean people. Many different way to cook the meat. Fun vibe fast friendly services. Price so decent and top notch quality meat and exceptional flavors. So hard to find Korean BBQ restaurants like this. Makgeolli (milky rice wine) with meat best in the world.
