I have searched all over to find a Peruvian restaurant that would equal the delicious food we had in Peru. Voila: found it! I only wish I lived in Miami so I could go more often!

First review ever—and well deserved. Amazing, authentic Peruvian food. The lomo saltado and ceviche mixto are incredibly fresh and flavorful, better than any spot in Palmetto Bay. On top of that, the couple who run it are wonderful and genuinely care about their customers.

I’m a big fan of Peruvian chicken and I always go on my way to grab some whenever. I see it for dinner. I passed by Don Pollo and I ordered a whole rotisserie chicken with white rice and french fries and I have to say this is one of the best Peruvian rotisserie chickens I’ve ever had. The meat was perfectly cooked throughout the breast was not dry like other places, and the chicken was fall off the bone. I will definitely be coming back and I really enjoyed both their green sauce and their yellow sauce. Chicken was perfectly seasoned and the service was incredibly fast while the food tasted fresh.

This has to be the best kept secret in Palmetto Bay. it’s relatively new and the owners are a couple who are both so friendly and professional and nice that it makes it a pleasure to eat there. The place is very humble and unassuming but do not let that fool you the food is delicious. it is always very fresh and tasty and served quickly. The family combo which is an entire Peruvian chicken with a mountain of french fries and very generous serving of rice is an incredible deal.

Don Pollo 2 has the best Lomo Saltado and the best Ceviche Mixto that my wife and I have tried. The owners and employees are all actually peruvian and they always provide canchitas to munch on while you wait for your food. Their portions are also very generous. They also have this green peruvian sauce that goes great with everything. It is spicy but with a nice garlic taste as well, and doesn’t overwhelm the taste of the food. The cooking is rather impressive and competes with bigger, more well known peruvian places in the area at a lower price and without having to wait for a table.

This place taste like homemade food! It’s a small place with just a few tables – very humble. The food was incredible and the lady who served us was the nicest lady! Definitely recommend.

I’m Peruvian and I bought their rotisserie chicken. The chicken tasted awful and it will be the last time that I buy their rotisserie chicken. The chicken was not cooked in the rotisserie style, it seems that the chicken was cooked in the oven.

If you’re looking for real Peruvian food made with love and pride, this is the place. Every dish is bursting with authentic flavor, fresh ingredients, and careful attention to detail. You can taste that the kitchen truly cares about what they serve. This is not chain restaurant, cookie cutter quality. It is the kind of food that reminds you why you go out to eat in the first place. The portions are generous, the presentation is beautiful, and the flavors are perfect.
Any bad reviews here must be from people with an agenda because my experience has been nothing short of excellent every time. If you want authentic, top tier Peruvian cuisine, you will be glad you came here.
