Me and two of my friends went here. We ordered the sushi, and it was alright. It was reasonable for the price. However, the person who was running the register is why I’m leaving such a bad review. He didn’t talk to us at all. The water tasted like it was poisoned. The worst that happened was when we paid. It was one of my friends night to pay, and he had just gotten paid, so he paid with a 50. We had ordered 3 servings of the sushi, so our total was about 13$ with tax. When we asked for our change, he just yelled, “Get out!” One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a restaurant. Do not go here, but if you do, pay with exact change.

For someone that lived in Korea I can say that this place is very good, albeit a hole in the wall (those are usually the best places). It gets a bad rap because of poor service, but that is how it is in Korea. If you need something then you raise your hand or call the waiter over and he will be happy to get you what you want. That’s how it is done in Korea. Also, the owner/waiter does not speak very good English so please be kind to him and understanding. He really is very nice. And the old lady in the back makes some amazing food!

No kidding with the reviews! We wanted to experience it for ourselves and it was very disappointing. The guy wasnt friendly at all to be honest he was very rude! The establishment needs new management and friendliness people to gain businesses. The food wasnt the same, I ordered a dish in a form of a soup but was served in the plate instead! I will never have Korean BBQ again from this place!

Waiter was not pleasing, seemed almost annoyed. Never came to check in on us to see how the food tasted and didn’t offer us anything else. When I paid for the food, he demanded a tip?! Dont get it, but he won’t have my service ever again! Food was brought out and it was horrible. With exception to the beef and rice. I might be unfamiliar with korean food, but the food didn’t seem fresh. Don’t go here!

To me, the food was AMAZING. But I’m not familiar with Korean food, so others who are may think otherwise. I think the food is spot-on, however the management is dreadful. The guy that runs it never smiles, looks like he hates his life and always looked like I was annoying him or being an inconvenience for him. Buying something once from the store adjunct to the restaurant, I asked him about a Korean recipe and he said they were all out, although I knew better, and grabbed it anyway. I tried to buy it and he sent me off asking me to return with bills. I did and he looked annoyed with my return. I think there’s potential, but this guy is hurting any chance of that. Also, there are layers of dust on a lot of things, so be careful what you touch.

Maybe he’s secretly trying to sabotage his own place, but either way this is the worst customer service I’ve ever had at ANY restaurant. I was never checked on or talked to, the place was disgusting and gross, the food was dry and old looking. To top it off, I waited at the register for 10 minutes waiting for him to come out or even be visible in the kitchen area and only came out after I raised my voice asking for someone As he was running my card I tried to be nice and strike up a friendly conversation and he just completely and blatantly ignored me, looking annoyed.

The food was good and the price was not unreasonable (since I got the special). However, the worker who waited on my table could not answer any questions about the menu items and seemed like he spoke little to no English. He was also not very friendly. The service alone will assure that I probably will not be back any time soon.

Lots of the food was overpriced especially compared to Salt Lake. Lots of the food didn’t have prices. We were really happy to be there in the beginning but then the man walked by without saying anything and just said, “What are you doing here?” Then said, “Get out!” So we left.

Don’t let “hole-in-the-wall” appearance fool you, this place has awesome food. Yes, the gentleman is not that chatty, but who cares – you came to eat, not to have a conversation. The bibimbop was excellent and the hot spicy something or other was also wonderful. We will eat here again.

Okay, so first off, all other reviews on here about the customer service are spot on. I walked in with some buddies and the man didn’t even acknowledge us. We sat down(because it’s a restaurant) and no one greeted us or came to our table. and on a side note, the place looks like an insane asylum. The pictures are reminiscent of my 2nd cousins house who was a murderer. We went up to the table and he didn’t even say a word. We said what we wanted and then he said “sit.”. We waited for thirty minutes in this place for 8 potstickers. The food was actually quite good, I really enjoyed it, but then we went to pay and he didn’t say anything, more just gave us kind of a disgusted look. And pointed at the tip, (we tipped cause honestly idk how this guy is making any money) This place has so much potential, just needs far, far better customer service.
