We originally planned to grab coffee from the cart in Kopitos’ parking lot, but the smell coming off the Kopitos grill pulled us straight inside. It was impossible to ignore. The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and handed a menu, which immediately set the tone.
The gal helping us recommended the Shrimp & Bacon Tacos and the New York Steak Tacos, and wow. I’m a serious taco snob, and these are unbeatable. Easily the best tacos I’ve had anywhere in the Pacific Northwest. The fact that they’re only a 10 minute drive from me makes it even better.
The flavor was incredibly rich and layered. They served two salsas on the side, a green and a red. I usually try tacos without salsa first because I believe salsas can hide flaws in flavor, and I want a true taste test. I took my first bite and then somehow demolished two of the three tacos before realizing I hadn’t even touched the salsas yet. That’s how good they were on their own.
When I finally added the green salsa, it complemented the tacos perfectly without overpowering them. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, intentional, and well balanced.
The homemade tortillas are the signature touch that ties it all together. Hands down, this is my new go to spot.

Fantastic burrito!!! I decided to give them a try for takeout and was SO happy with my burrito. First, it was massive. No way I could finish it in one sitting. The ingredients were fresh and delicious and the salsa was really damn good. The atmosphere is lovely, contemporary, upscale. I want to take my wife here for a date night. Service was great. And it looks like a legit chef working the grill. The food tastes like a pro was at work. I am definitely coming back. Highly recommend this place.

Very relaxing atmosphere as you walk through the door. Many options for seating to meet many needs. The staff were all so sweet and treated us like family. The food was fantastic! The thought put into the menu showed through the first bite to the last. I can’t recommend this place enough. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back to explore their menu.

If you happen to be in Newberg OR this is a gem of a Mexican Restaurant. Amazing staff, environment and food. Had amazing Chicharrones with guacamole, tacos and pozole. The Margaritas were also amazing.

What a great find in Newberg. There are gluten-free options. The menu has labels. The servers are knowledgeable, and if they don’t know, they will ask. There’s outdoor seating available, or you can opt to sit in the shade, but it’s not fully indoors. Think firehouse garage door. Everything was delicious. Service was A+.

Such a hidden gem! We enjoyed some delicious prawns, tamales with ribs and enchiladas. Everything was fresh, full of flavor and plated beautifully. Service was excellent as well. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is so great! The food was very well made and authentic. They “don’t mess around with their spices,” so know before you go! The steak tacos melt in your mouth and were delicious. Will be heading back for more soon!

Hands down one of the best and most authentic restaurants around. Miriam the owner is so thoughtful, kind and a phenomenal bartender. The atmosphere and vibe is rockin! Im a firm believer of yoy get what you pay for, while I read that some say its on the higher end its really not for the quality and portion amount its quite fantastic. I highly recommend trying the cauliflower appetizer, the fish tacos and a house margaritas! Chefs kiss!
