Konjoe Burger + Seasoned Fries + Diet Coke (w/ tax $25.65). 7min cooking time. I love fried egg on burgers but this was Too runny even for me, including unset white. Burger is very rare too. Seasoned fries are nice but over-seasoned. Burger was fine but more Wet than juicy – swimming with the egg plus aioli plus oil. Expensive for what you get. Very pleasant inside and outside covered seating.

Combo meal was great too.The french fries are really good and I got a sparkling water in a glass bottle which was nice. Thank you to the nice girl for her good customer service and the cook as well! Wish they offered avocado

Next time, we will try the namesake burger that everyone around us seemed to be having. On our first try, we ordered the fried chicken and pork belly.
Fried chicken sandwich was average, could be better fried and prepped. The crust was too thick, which led to pockets of gumminess. All you could taste was spiciness (hot), but no spice to give flavor. The chicken thigh wasn’t sliced or pounded to even thickness so it was super thick in the middle, like a roll. You have to grip the sandwich carefully, or the chicken just pops right out.
Pork belly was gray and unappetizing, looked like it had been boiled plain. It did not have any flavor or marinade. They drowned it in sauce, but it did not mask the piggy warmed over flavor. And this is just me, but a third of meat and more than half pure fat is not my ideal.
We do like that items do not come with fries. We love a well fried potato(or anything, really), but are not fans of paying for ‘mandatory’ fries that we don’t need/want.
Minor detail: The buzzer says Grains &Greens (salad bar next door), they are sharing or recycling buzzers.

First time visiting State Street Market. It was Sunday afternoon about 1:30. Parking is not so great and you have to hope someone is pulling out as you approach. Inside State Street Market, it was pretty busy. I grabbed the first table I saw that was also being used by a family of 4 so we had to share. I let my 3 family members go order their food while I held the table for us. I decided to checkout Konjoe Burger. The cost of the burgers was the first thing I noticed. I thought that if I’m going to spend a lot, I will get a big tasty burger. I ordered the Texas Burger, but now that I’m looking at the menu online, I was given the Smokehouse Burger. I thought this burger was good. It was full of flavor which included candied jalapenos and maple bacon. I thought the burger patties were small or too thin. However, the sandwich itself was good with each bite. Next time I go I may try the Truffle Burger. The fries were also good but next time I’ll get the plain fries. The seasoned fries weren’t as good as I expected.

It was a good burger, no doubt. But by no means a $15 burger. The patty needed a touch more salt. The impossible even pickled jalapenos needed more flavor. The fries were bland. Overall, tasty, sure. But more like $5 tasty.

On portions, I was satiated. My 6 year old needed two burgers. Approximately $30 is quite a bit for a 6 year old.

Rubber Duckie!
Absolutely horrid portions for the price, I finished my burger in less than five bites. The taste was satisfactory and the server was very attentive and helpful, but $15 for a burger smaller than the size of my palm is pathetic.

Always a tasty burger and fries. Today I ordered the Truffle Burger and added lettuce, with a side of fries and can of Sprite. They offered sauces and gladly shared some good BBQ sauce to dip the fries, and a few pickles to sample. Quick and affordable, Konjoe Burger has always been a good spot. Plus, solid service.

Never seen any burger place sent out burgers without bun. Doesn’t matter what you select in order. They will give you just something whatever they feel like. I was in rush and didn’t check the food. Again never expected burger without bun.
