Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the Illinois Valley. Rosas restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was fresh, homemade and delicious. Rosa cares very much about her customers and makes them feel like she’s cooking just for you! She is kind and goes out of her way to ensure customers are taken care of. Her tortillas are homemade and the best we have ever had. Very authentic food. Must Go!

You’re spoiled by having this restaurant in your town so eat here! Ok, so lots of Mexican restaurants have been opening in Spring Valley, but this is hands down the best! Everything is made fresh, from the handmade tortillas, Gordita’s, tamales literally everything. You can also taste the quality in the meat, as well ordered steak (Asada) and Pastor ( marinated pork). As being a Mexican American, I know what’s authentic and this place nailed it. I’ve eaten Mexican all over Mexico and this place is authentic delicious the real deal.

This place is authentic and absolutely delicious! I came to buy tamales and was immediately given a tamale to try. It felt like I walked into to a friends house during a family get together. Watching them make tortillas as people placed their orders shows how much love is put into their food. 100% recommended best place in the area.
