It is an upscale brasserie and intimate in feel yet elegant with staff who are absolutely exceptional.
We loved just sitting in this uber luxe setting.
There are huge windows allowing in natural light and at night the elegant lighting is flattering and creates a beautiful warm feel.
Cocktails are world class with an ever changing menu of drinks. We were there at Christmas and the Christmas offerings were amazing.
The wine menu is absolutely out of this world. Global, with so many interesting Hungarian wines and fantastic sommeliers. The wine was a highlight of the whole experience-and they were happy to educate us about the local varieties and regions.
The menu is mainly French with some Hungarian staples. Steaks, chicken for two, a duck fish, various fish dishes including Dover sole, New Zealand lamb and USA steaks.
We started with the goats cheese salad, prawns and salmon ceviche. The food was exceptional. A load of warm bread in a paper bag and fresh butter was exceptional on su ha. Cold winter’s night.
The goats cheese came as a circular wheel size and the lettuce was super fresh with walnuts. The prawns were the highlight, served with a warm butter, spicy sauce. And the salmon was uber fresh.
We had the paprika chicken, a Hungarian dish served with a huge potatoes salad, the duck with puy lentils and the steak with frois Gras.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Fresh, interesting and tasty.
The desserts were incredible; a flawless chocolate soufflé and crème brûlée -we fought for every mouthful, just so delicious.
No negatives about this experience. It was amazing on every level. Cannot wait to go back.
The food was amazingly delicious, every dish felt thoughtful, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with top-quality ingredients.
The service deserves a special shout-out: warm, attentive, and perfectly timed without hovering. Somehow they manage to be professional and genuinely friendly at the same time, which is rarer than it should be.
And the atmosphere? Elegant, relaxed, and buzzing in just the right way. It’s the kind of restaurant where you can have a proper conversation, enjoy great wine.
Food, service, and vibe, all nailed.
10/10.
This was one of our favorite meals in Budapest and would certainly come back.
Delicious food, nice relaxed environment and excellent service.
Decor is really nice, very cozy modern brasserie vibes, with super comfy booths.
However, the cappuccino x 2 were returned, basically just a black coffee with foam
On top (see pictures) the replacement was just as bad. Then when we required service, we had to almost stand up and wave, three staff including the manager just looked right though us. Asking for more butter was all we wanted, which was as small as a tiny spoon when it arrived. Come on—- this is four seasons not four reasons not to be happy. Never again thanks especially for €60 for two very bad coffees and two scrambled eggs dished (without butter until you ask). Michelin recommended ??? Where they blind.
