My friend and I went here for the first time. With both ordered different chicken. She got the teriyaki and I got the garlic chicken and both of us loved our chicken. The chicken was moist and tender and just the perfect texture and amount of flavor. We would highly recommend going to try them out. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their food selection.

Wonderful place that rivals Mo’ Bettahs! The wife and I think that they actually beat them in taste. Great location, comfortable environment and less busy than Mo’ Bettahs. Had the small plate (Lil Luau) and had too much food to eat in one setting. Teriyaki Chicken was tender and sweet, the Katsu Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the Mac salad was so savory and delicious! We also decided to go for the whole experience and try the Strawberry Guava “Tropical Lava Cake”. It was so tasty, yummy, and decadent. We also had the Spam Musubi, which is like a large Spam Sushi. It was very nice with it basted in and covered in teriyaki sauce and wrapped in tender rice. Wonderful experience that I think we will continue to experience. Great food!

Delicious tasting, quality food. Rivals Mo’bettah imo. Lots of other reviews complaining about small portion but I got the smallest size and felt it was more than enough. Teriyaki sauce wasn’t my favorite compared to others but the flavor of everything else more than made up for it. First time going here and found a new favorite. Will definitely be back

Absolutely loved dining here! My sister and I needed a place to eat after driving in from Montana and Kokonut Island was right next to our hotel.

It’s not a bad competitor as a more expensive version of mo bettahs. I like the chicken options. However. Their “tax & processing” line in their receipt is over 11% which is well over the ~7.5% meal tax typical for Utah county so that’s pretty shady and irritating.

Excited to try a new spot besides Mo Bettah after eating today for lunch i was very very disappointed. There so called Big Luau plate was half the size of Mo Bettahs regular plate and cost more. My chicken katsu was cold mac salad was salty and the portions were very small. I mean look how many pieces of chicken i got 5 ‍♂️. Rice and mac scoops were like half of a ice cream scoop. To the people who are saying they have great portions are either blind or related to the owner because it was small and for the price very disappointed first and last time coming here. Paid $15.72 for this

I went to BYU Hawaii and love spam musubi. I did takeout but only drove a half mile away… I’m not sure why but my spam musubi was honestly colder than room temperature but it would’ve been more enjoyable for it to be warm. Good thing I don’t mind eating my spam musubi cold their mac salad was okay, not my favorite, it’s a little too loaded with black pepper for me to feel like I’m eating a good serving of classic mac salad. Maybe that’s their goal but I don’t know that this place would be my first choice for Hawaiian food until I try more than just the musubi and mac salad.

The “sides of rice” portion was tiny, like half an ice cream scoop tiny, and the teriyaki sauce was off..too liquidy. Mac salad is def better at Mo-Bettahs, but their Katsu and Lava cake were on point.

The portion was so tiny for a double meat big luau. This does not look like a big luau to me. Gave this place a shot but won’t be back.

We used to go to the North Orem location for their spam musubi until it closed. Went to the PG location and not only has the price gone up from $2.99 to $4.49 but they have gotten smaller as well. Big disappointment.
