Well all the negative comments about this place is correct. Food portions are very small and expensive. They fill the plates with cheap green leaves. I ordered cod and got a small piece of cod for 25$. Ridiculous price for what I got and the service. You order everything yourselves and you still pay tip. The qr ordering is ridiculous. You have to pay first to get your order. I think they scared of you running away after ordering. Food is not healthy for kids. Everything has beer in it. The atmosphere is really good. If the management would change this place could be the very best place to hang out.

My girls and I were just there for birthday celebrations. We ordered 1 drink each for a total of 5 drinks I think we were given mock tails and 2 appetizers the clam strips which we were told by our waitress the serving size was basically over flowing WRONG there was barely anything on the plate, we were told everything was made from scratch WRONG it was definitely left over in the freezer from last year. The sweet chili rock shrimp was terrible I’m pretty sure it was a bunch of the breading and no shrimp present! If we stayed & ordered dinner it was basically à la carte and over priced! We pd $145 and left we didn’t even order dinner! I must say zero stars I do not recommend!

This place could be a real treasure, however, we will not go back unless they change how they operate. We own a seasonal home nearby and heard that most of our neighbors have written this place off so we tried it……TWICE! I would recommend actual menus and waitstaff if you are going to charge these prices. You might as well be just a pick up counter with the way you operate. Food was inconsistent, no service and selections were odd. We would hate to see this place close but please bring in someone that operates restaurants. Focus on quality and service instead of technology. Also please be sure that adequate orders are placed, you were out of several items each time. This is a one and down restaurant in its current state.

Used to love coming here. Must be new management or ownership and they clearly don’t care about quality. Order on an app and no server yet still have to pay a 20% service charge. Had our food brought out to us without drinks and finished our food before we even got a water bottle or soda. Lobster rolls barely filled with lobster and the “server” said “That’s how it is” and walked away when we asked to get more to at least fill the bun. Hopefully they get bought out with someone who will actually make such a great location a great restaurant as well.

This place has gone downhill year after year to the point that this year 3 out of 8 of us had food that was so bad as to be inedible. The bill with 3 appetizers to share and one drink/entree per person was almost $500, including a generous tip for the awful service, on top of having to use a terrible app for ordering everything, even water. All the fried food was fine but stay away from anything else.

My husband made reservations for Mother’s online to dine outside patio for 12. After 30 minutes waiting, I was told that they didn’t not have an available table and that we needed to dine inside, the patio’s tables are not a guarantee. This information was not communicated online when the reservation was made. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager told us the same thing, there were only 7 tables outside and apologized for them not being prepared to handle the high demands of reservations requesting to dine outside. The fact that a restaurant can’t handle the capacity or be organized for such busy day, is not my problem. I asked her since there was a limit of 1.5 hours for dining, I wanted her to find out who were closed on ending their dining. After the back and forth, a table became available. Then, we find out that you don’t get a waitress but all orders must be placed online and we had to use this ridiculous system. It was so expensive. We wasted $125 and the food was not good and was a bit cold. The workers nor manager were inviting or personable. A few minutes later, I see the same manager who told us there was no outside table come out with a table to accommodate 5 white people however, the same approach was not offered or taken with my husband and I because we are Latino. I was so disappointed, and have visited this place and beach for 5 years, we will no longer go to that place. Is sad to see that we still experience discrimination instead of embracing all cultures. It was a horrible experience.

I made a reservation for outdoor dining. When I arrived, the staff let me know no outdoor dining was available. No problem. I take a table inside the restaurant area. Everything is done via a QR code. Ordering to paying. I placed my order. 2 sodas and an appetizer. It took a bit to get drinks. No problem. It was busy because it was Mother’s Day. Thirty-five minutes later, I mentioned to my dinner guest that it seems to be a little bit of a wait for an appetizer. A lady appeared and said it ls about a 45 min wait for food. Asked what I ordered. An appetizer. The staff was trying to be accommodating, but I was not able to accept the offer they gave me. I opted to cancel my order. Here’s why. I looked at the menu extensively before I went. Many of the options I saw were not on the menu. I wanted seafood for this event. The chowder and the lobster were sold out, and my reservation was for 1pm. I did not want my order to be put in front of anyone else’s as it would be quick because it’s just an appetizer. I won’t say this was a bad dining experience as I’m always willing to try a place more than once because stuff happens.

Thought it would be a great idea to head to the beach on the beautiful Friday. I was right! Walked right on the beach with a table in the sand and the water about 50 ft away! No cash, debit credit only. The ordering system was pretty cool though, you can keep a tab open and order as much as you want, you can even add others to your tab for online ordering. Great food, great view, and great service! I highly recommend this place! They also rent cabanas and beach chairs for a few all summer long!

This was our last stop for drinks at the end of the season and end of our trip to New York in the fall. Didn’t have to wait for seats or service at the end of October. Lovely sipping drinks by the seaside. May have to come here again during peak season and get food too.

Sat down at the outside beach area and ordered from the virtual menu and got my food seven minutes before my drinks. They pay someone to make sure you order right…but can’t take your order then they charge you 20% gratuity when they hand you the bill. Trap….keep it. However the area us beautiful and the lobster sliders were on point
