We went to KOJI for my aunt’s birthday and it was such a great experience. It’s a newer spot that opened in the fall, and the food felt super authentic. Honestly, it brought me right back to the month and a half I spent in Korea. I had the Korean Crispy Sweet Chicken, the Spicy Tuna Roll, and the Beef Bulgogi that came with soup, rice, and steamed egg. Everything was so good. I already can’t wait to reheat the leftovers for lunch.
That crispy sweet chicken especially hit home. It reminded me of being near Pohang, hanging out with the Korean Marines and ordering way too much sweet and spicy chicken to the base. Same exact vibes. The sides were plentiful and really added to the meal, and that bulgogi was cooked perfectly. The kitchen even brought out samples of their fried mandu and this sweet, shortcake-style bread that I wish I remembered the name of because it was unreal. Overall, such a good night. My aunt was really happy for her birthday, and the whole family loved it. We’ll definitely be back.

I went to Koji with my family yesterday, and wow – the food was incredible. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, from the kimbap to the cold noodles. The spicy pork came out packed with flavor, and even the side dishes were so good we kept asking for more. You can tell the owners really know Korean food — it’s authentic, balanced, and made with care. The owner, her husband, and their son were so friendly and made us feel completely at home. Koji might be new, but it already feels like a favorite spot.

Koji gets it right.
Every single time, Koji delivers on quality. Not in that flashy, look-at me way. But in that quiet, confident “we know what we’re doing” kind of way that actually matters. It’s rare to find people that care, but this is the spot.
The service is friendly without being annoying. Professional without the pretense. They treat you like a regular even when you’re not.
The food hits a mark that so many local spots fail at, consistency. And I don’t mean “consistently just ok” like so many chains that Salisbury locals gravitate to. I mean genuinely, reliably delicious. Whether you’re sitting in their dining room on a slow Wednesday or grabbing takeout on your way home from work, they’re putting out the same quality.
People that care are a rarity and Koji has those people.
So whether you’re a 30-year local or a one-time visitor swing by Koji. The vibe may be just what you need.

A+! Delicious food, excellent service! My family has eaten here several times, and have always had wonderful meals. Sushi, Avocado Seared Tuna Salad, Ahi Tuna salad, shrimp tempura are all first class. Hot Sake, wine and a few beer options are now available. The lovely family that runs the restaurant also give diners a complimentary slice of Korean cake (a light, moist pound cake) at the end of a meal. Koji is downtown, Salisbury Maryland– free parking on the streets!

This might actually be the best restaurant in Salisbury. The quality of everything is unbelievably good. The portions are huge. This is authentic, delicious Korean and Japanese food. The beef bulgogi was extremely tender and flavorful. The short ribs were phenomenal. The pork belly melted in my mouth and had a little bit of spice from the gochujang. Entrees come with lots of sides (rice, egg, kimchi, noodles, soup, plus lots more). The sushi was an unexpected highlight! Good sushi takes a moment to prepare properly – and the sushi here is proof of that – top notch flavor and extremely fresh! Service is fast, friendly, and fun. I’m in Salisbury every other week for work and I will be sure to have at least one dinner here every time I’m in town (and will recommend them as my #1 to all my coworkers and friends!!)

Amazing addition to Salisbury! I will admit I was heartbroken when Kanpai closed so this venue had a special place in my heart with big shoes to fill. Koji did not disappoint. My family loves Korean food and eats it often so I was excited to try this place. We over ordered and tried a lot. The tempura fried green beans were a great appetizer. The Korean fried chicken wings (garlic) had less sauce than we are used to but the flavor was great. In addition to the Korean menu there is a limited sushi menu. We tried two sushi rolls (the Red Dragon and the White Dragon, sans cream cheese because im not big on cream cheese in my rolls). I was pleasantly surprised. Delicious flavor and it was obvious the tuna was very fresh and high quality – excellent! We tried three entrees – galbi, spicy pork, and the beef bulgogi. All was good but the galbi was the best. The entrees came with generous sides – rice, kimchi, noodle salad, a really good spicy miso soup, steamed egg, shrimp tempura, and Korean fried dumplings. The best part about this place though was the service. This is a true family run business with mom, dad, and son. Everyone checked on us throughout our meal and even brought us some cake for dessert. If you like Korean this is a must try place!

As a foodie, I don’t mind driving for great food and KOJI Taste was absolutely worth the 2-hour drive from Ellicott City. This is one of those rare hidden gem restaurants you’re genuinely excited to discover. Plus, it’s conveniently close to Ocean City, which makes it a perfect stop if you’re heading that way.
The flavors were authentic , especially dak galbi and the specialty rolls. You can taste the freshness in every bite, and everything came out hot and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find a place that does both Korean and Japanese cuisine this well.
The service was kind and attentive, and the whole restaurant has that cozy, family-owned feel that makes you want to stay a little longer. 10/10 would absolutely recommend, and we’ll definitely be back with the group.

Food was great but service sure wasn’t. Wait staff was incredibly condescending and rude while knowing absolutely nothing about Korean food or culture. When we got there he was eating, and didn’t stop to seat us just told us to sit wherever in between bites. Then when I wanted to order, I had to repeat myself several times before I was interrupted by the servers girlfriend who came in and wanted to mingle. I then had to have a different sever take my order who then left the building right after. I then waited forever for food and didn’t even get utensils until after the food arrived. Was really looking forward to coming here regularly, but seems like take out is the only way to go.

I’m so glad to find this authentic Korean spot in town! The food tastes just like home — flavorful, fresh, and comforting. We tried the naengmyeon (냉면), Udon, Tuna Poke bowl and everything was amazing. The side dishes were generous, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Definitely my new go-to for Korean food!
