Really cool store that has a lot of Senegalese items around for sale. The food was perfect it was my first time having west African food and I really liked how Smokey and barbequey the food was. I got the large lamb platter and they really packed on the rice and lamb, it was really delicious and the onions were particularly good. The lamb wasn’t gamey at all and had a great taste and chew. The turn around time on the order was quick as well and very friendly staff.

Wow! This place really surprised me. Was looking for a great lunch and it did not disappoint. I kiked it so much I ordered a plate to-go before I even left the parking lot.
The lamb, goat, and rice were all cooked to perfection. Omar, the gentleman who took my order, was gracious and kind as I asked questions about the menu. I wished they had more veggies in the menu, but regardless – if I lived in the area, this spot would definitely be on my list for tasty takeout!

This is A hidden gem. There isn’t a sign up to show they are in the shopping mall but it’s worth a visit. They’re sandwiched between to churches. If you go in a weekend you may get some great food and a good sermon from the churches. The portions are large and the meat is very flavorful. I prefer my meat a little more tender but the other family members liked it as it was. The goat was great as well as the lamb. The Mac and cheese very very cheesy. I added a little salt to make it perfect for my taste but overall I give this place a 9 out of 10. They have a store as well. Check out the pics

Granted I haven’t been to their restaurant locations, their pop-up location that features their food truck in Forestville Plaza is where my mom was blessed to bring some of their food home for the family to try. Quick story, one weekend I was driving by with her in my vehicle and suddenly we smelled a delicious aroma as well as saw smoke coming from the grill. She noted the place in her mind this weekend she was able to venture there. She relayed that they had a good amount of customers ordering food but the personnel was so patient, kind, and helpful. She brought home some grilled chicken, lamb, jollof rice, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. Majority of the meat and jollof rice was in one container, but altogether enough to feed a family of three people with huge appetites. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was their grilled chicken! It paired nicely with their mustard sauces, especially the hot mustard sauce! They also have The most unique and delicious joloff rice I’ve ever tasted in my life! The taste of Senegal cannot be compared! I’ve tried other West African food, but Senegalese food stands out like no other! Originally, Ivorian food was my favorite, but now I can add Senegalese food to my new list of favorite West African food! You have to try it – you won’t regret it! I look forward to going to one of their restaurant locations!

They do the best grilled everything. And I think it’s priced perfectly. I drive all the way from Baltimore for this place and I send everyone I know here if they are looking for great tasting meat. I always get the lamb but the chicken and goat are great too. Also their rice is well done. The place is small but they put out biggggg flavors. (get the lamb lol….as I eat some while I type this). Oh yes! The mustard sauce is a must have along with the meats.
They do it all so well!!!! I wish you could smell this review

First time here. It’s in an small obscure shopping center. And there is NO sign of the name of the restaurant. Unless you know it, you found it on Google, you would not know there is a restaurant here. Inside the restaurant there is a small grocery store. Simple menu. I came here for good meats based on other reviews and I got it. I love the taste of lamb. Know that these lamb come with bones. It may be tough somewhere and a bit greasy! But the peppery flavor was heaven! I don’t know what West African lamb should taste like but I sure do like the taste. Staff was attentive and patient with my questions. The place could use a little more even simple update to make it shine a little. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food and excellent service. The portions are very large which is good. You have enough for your dinner and some leftovers. The fries were also very good. The food came out relatively quick and was very hot and delicious.

Let me first say, that we did not visit this restaurant location. But, we stopped by Koite Grill Stand at RFK Stadium Open Air Farmers’ Market in DC and we ordered Lamb, Chicken with JOLLOF Rice, Purple Tea and a upside down Pineapple Poundcake. Our food was perfectly cooked. Everything was flavorful, juicy and on point. The staff was helpful and friendly. I’m recommending this meal to everyone!
